Gun Runner's Wife Arrested With Whooping Sum She Collected From The Forest For Her Husband

The Katsina State Police Command has arrested Aisha Nura 27, the wife of a notorious gun runner with the sum of N2.4 million in her possession.
She said the money belongs to her husband, Nura Alh. Murnai, who is currently at large.

Aisha was apprehended while trying to board a motorcycle to Nahuta village, a Fulani settlement.
She was paraded before newsmen on Friday by the spokesman of the Katsina Police Command, SP Isah Gambo.

According to the police spokesman, Nura Alh. Murnai is a notorious bandit working under another notorious bandits kingpin, identified as Abu Radda.

While fielding questions from newsmen, Aisha confessed that her husband was a cattle rustler but does not use a gun for his operations.

She, however, admitted that the leaders of their syndicates do have guns.

She also alleged that her husband sent her to collect the money from one of their counterparts in Kaduna forest.

“On 25th July 2021 at about 0900hrs, based on a tip-off, the Command succeeded in arresting one Aisha Nura, aged 27yrs of Barandaa village, a Fulani settlement at Batsari LGA of Katsina state.

“Nemesis caught up with the suspect when she was arrested suspiciously, concealing her presence and trying to board an Okada motorcycle from Batsari town heading towards Nahuta village. Immediately she was searched, money, the sum of two million four hundred and five thousand naira (N2,405,000:0OK) was
found in her possession reasonably suspected to be proceeds of arms supplies to bandits in Kaduna State.

In the course of investigations, the suspect confessed to the commission of the offence and admitted that she was sent by her husband one Nura Alh. Murnai, a notorious bandit belonging to the camp of bandits leader, Abu Radda, to collect the money on his behalf from his counterparts in Kaduna forest. Investigations are ongoing,” Gambo Isah

  3. If the president is serious about it, banditory will stop, let them apply quarter of the energy used in the south east, how can they continually evade the security forces? There should be dozens of arrests like this and this whole national kidnapping madness will die a natural death.

Don't worry, maybe one day when you all will wake up from your sleep and see all what we have been saying happening, it will dawn on you guys. For now, keep pretending you don't know what's happening.

  11. I don't understand why they are wasting so much time in apprehending these bandits. See those poor kids that were kidnapped in Niger state and the remaining ones from Bethel college. It's so sad that the government just acts like they have amnesia and have forgotten that these murderous thieving lunatics are on the prowl.

God please give our leaders the wisdom to act, give them sleepless nights until they solve this security challenges we are facing as a country.

    1. The use of hijab has taken another meaning entirely.

Few days to Sallah, that was how one came with full hijab to steal shoe and purse, and when they wanted to search her she was saying it's wrong to touch somebody else's wife 🤣😂😂😂.
The evil they do with this hijab ehn, it has totally lost its essence.

  14. When will Nigerian police have sense! Why parade this woman in the first place? They should have kept quiet about it and use her as bait to get her husband and his gang. Instead they paraded her before newsmen ,thereby giving her husband and his evil gang the opportunity to escape. Naija police make una get small sense na!
