In an eight-hour ruling, Justice Gideon Kurada upheld the no-case submission filed by El-Zakzaky and his wife.
The Kaduna State Government had levelled an alleged culpable homicide, unlawful assembly and disruption of public peace against them.
The judge in his ruling held that the prosecution failed to establish a prima facie case against the defendants.
El-Zakzaky and his wife Zeenat have been standing trial for four years on an eight-count charge.

ReplyDeleteA whole 4 years
ReplyDeleteIt is well
ReplyDeleteHas Nigerian government ever won a case? All they are good in is media trial. You can imagine the scrupulous charges against him and they couldn't prosecute him and the wife. Their charges even lack merit. Can you imagine wasting a whole four good years of this man.
ReplyDeleteNigeria is truly a mess and a huge joke. Britain e no go better for una.
Unscrupulous...
DeleteIs Kaduna state govt not Nigeria government...
DeleteIyke I know what I meant by that statement. You and I knows too well that, it's the federal government dealing with this man all along. The case was tried in Kaduna doesn't exonerate the federal government prosecuting him. In fact, his residence is in Kaduna the reason of the court jurisdiction.
DeleteAnother bile from Malami"s head loading!
