Chronicle Of Blog Visitor Narrative...

 Hmmmmm....

STAND ALONE NARRATIVE

WORRIED HUSBAND

My wife has boils in her arm pit.

The boils come and go with with pains, sometimes 2, 3 at a time. Her sugar level is under control though she has bp that is under check. Her younger sister who is a medical doctor asked if puss comes from the boils and the answer is yes.

She said if puss does not come out, it might mean cancerous boils. That put our mind to rest.

Issue is another boil is growing out on her leg, second time around that leg area last time there being last 2 years ago Christmas. Anti biotics tabs have been taken yet the boils come and go. What could be the reason for these boils?

*This does not sound good at all...... Why doesnt she fo test so that the content of the boil can be checked to ascertain what it is...... it does not sound like everything is alright oh..

    1. Poster is she diabetic? I am diabetic and for a long time my blood sugar wasn't controlled. Though it got better within 2 weeks but the effect of the bad control previously couldn't be reversed immediately. I had pus on my legs, armpit ,and butt too . It was soo bad. I had to continue controlling it for a long time. Till it got better and better.
If your wife is diabetic maybe it wasn't controlled previously, but is just getting stable now.
Go do a test and keep the blood sugar controlled for life. I also had high blood pressure.
      Take care

    2. Maybe his wife is using medicated soaps, prolonged use of disinfectants in bathing water, bleaching creams/soaps. All these can cause recurrent skin infections.
Add poor personal hygiene plus diabetes. Etc

    3. Hello Mr. Husband, please listen to me very carefully. What your wife has is probably HS(Hydranitis Suppurative). It is an ailment triggered by what you eat.
It has an offensive odour when you have flare-ups that are discharging. It comes out
anywhere flesh touches like armpits, hip tighs, or around the vulva.
I am a patient. I have mastered it. It messed me up for over 2 decades before I stumbled on the
blog page of a popular patient who has mastered it and teaching others how to handle it.
Her name is Tara Grant. She even authored a book on the subject: THE HIDDEN PLAGUE.

It is not curable. And that is not a death sentence. If you don't eat what triggers it, you will be fine for life. It will be in you and there will be no sign of it.

How did I stop my own boils? I discovered my own triggers are: bread, buns, doughnut(or any flour baked with yeast), milk(this was one of my main triggers), caking icing, processed drinks like Chivita. Even some fruits like I do react to garden eggs. Yours may be these or more or less. You have to start paying attention to your body after taking new stuff.

I hope this helps. God bless you and yours.

  2. A lot of things can depress one's immunity. It's a good thing her glucose level is under control and this is me assuming she is also diabetic because you would have stated she isn't Diabetic. Take her to see her doctors so they carry out more investigations on her.

Ps...for a Diabetic patient who has a period of uncontrolled glucose level with its attendant complications, having the glucose level under control for a few days doesn't automatically take off the complications that have set in.
Wishing your wife all the best @poster

    1. I feel like she might have taken too many antibiotics that she is now immune to it. She should try probiotics to bring back the good bacteria to fight the infection.

  7. Is she pregnant?happens to my sister if she is pregnant.
It also happened to me when I was pregnant for my second child but not severe.
My sister own is worse,at times ten all over but once she births it goes to the baby till maybe the baby is 2 months old.Her last child is 8 and she says she and the kids has not experienced even one again.

  8. If she is immunocompromised, she can get such.pregnancy,HIV,diabetes, malnourished state, immunosuppressive drug like steroids weaken one's immunity. She should see a doctor please. I recommend she does some investigations like RVS for HIV,HbA1c to check average glucose level in the past 3 months.
    Is she pregnant?
Is she using an steroid drug?
What is her retroviral status(HIV status)?
    Is she malnourished?

  9. My son used to have these armpit boils until he stopped using antiperspirants and shaving with sticks or cream. It was simply sensitivity to ingrowth hair. The boils will stink! Now he is a man and has found what is good for him...

  10. I was in this shoe couple of years ago, my boils were so consistent that as one is ripening another was about to ripen, and another just sprouted and this was mostly on my neck and my armpit, sometimes the puss dries up and attach to my inner polo, the pain of seperation was more like a minor surgery, i believe it will be well with time, fear kills faster. Drugs and God's miracle, I was healed and all just dried up.

  13. For those going to the obviously,he has gone to the hospital and used several antibiotics, also you don't know the man's pocket and how deep this has cut into their finances o,he just wants to know who else has experienced this.

  14. It's obvious her immune system is messed up. Go to the hospital, let the doctors in that specialization handle it. Her sister may not be a specialist in that area. While you are at it, please let her incorporate fibrous foods into her diet especially beans and citrus. This will keep her system moving, leaving no room for toxins to stay. Also, minimum three litres of water daily is a must. This flushes the body of any impurity. Water is a drug that nothing else can match. Commit it into God's hands. He is the greatest physician. 15. It is called “otito agba oku “ I’m Igbo, I do not know it’s English name. Next time your wife start to notice it is coming out, let her use the head of a bunch of broom and hit that spot several times and hard, the boil will go back inside and would never come back again.
That’s how my grandma taught us to treat it and it works. Good luck

  16. Hidradenitis supritiva this may be what your wife has. I constantly had boils some will come to a head others won’t. Its causes vary. Look it up I didn’t do anything but my flare ups reduced . Although it may be related to diabetes( mine is controlled now)

    ReplyDelete
  17. Hidradenitis.... Go look it up and sought for proper management. However, it's really difficult to treat and she might have to manage it on a long term basis.

  18. Use penicillin ointment. Monitor her hygiene, make sure when bathing, that area is washed and dried thoroughly. Monitor her shaving habits too

  19. No be staph be dis?

  20. Visit a good hospital with your wife to find out what is the main reason for the reoccurring boil.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Get on vitamin C. If possible two tabs a day for two weeks, then 1 tab everyday. Vitamin C will greatly boost her immune system which will help attack the boil. Wishing her the best.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Please if you are worried for your wife as you cliam..take her to the hospital for proper tests and treatment.

    ReplyDelete
  23. She could have hidradenitis supurativa it's a skin condition affecting the sweat glands. Or a recurrent staph infection, check for the source of exposure...does she work in a lab? Please check her blood sugar again.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Is stress o! Let her eat a balanced diet and take 50mg of zinc tablets everyday for 1 week. The same thing happens to me when I’m super stressed or malnourished.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I know of someone who also has something similar to this, boils just appearing and dissappering on her legs. I dunno what causes it🤔😥

    ReplyDelete
  26. Some points to note:
    Does she reuse shaving stick?
    How does she shave?
Could also be reaction to something she has in her system.
Does she have any amalgam filling in her teeth?
Does she have an IUCD in place. These things cause a lot of havoc, but people don't suspect.
I write from personal experience. I had to get rid of them before I became well.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I also get boils but I get them when I take sugar. So now I am fully on Splenda. I am not diabetic tho. Poster pls take your wife for a complete medical check up and battery of tests. It may be expensive but life first!!
