Never! One of my best lady's accessories, ever! A lot of people have diabolical perception of waist beads, this is so wrong, they are just for fashion, anyone saying otherwise is uninformed. As with any other accessories, some people can use it as they wish, but the beauty of it cannot be stressed enough.
