Actress Uche Iwuji Makes A Comeback To Nollywood And Reveals The Only Thing She Regrets.

Actress, Uche Iwuji, is back to making movies after a long break and she tells Punch how she survived a crashed marriage and her biggest regret.

She told Punch' Saturday Beats, “I took a break from acting but I have been back for a while. I shot movies last year and this year too. I took a break because I needed to ‘find’ myself. The break was worth it was because I wanted to rediscover myself. I was trying to rebrand myself and also concentrate on my business. I am back to acting full time. I don’t think I can work for anyone because of the exposure that acting offers. I prefer to be my own boss. I won’t really say I missed anything because I have been working but not much. The pay has also been okay. When one leaves the scene and comes back, one won’t be paid in millions immediately.

“My love life is perfect and yes, I will give marriage another try. But for now, I want to concentrate on my career. I want to be well equipped for the journey ahead. Marriage will happen when God permits it. Years back, I was always in the news for different scandals. I think I should have corrected those misconceptions and not shy away from them as I did. I would advise young actors to enjoy their lives and make money. The only regret I have is that my private life was exposed. Other than that, my life has been good. My marriage crashed and it affected me but thankfully, I have been able to bounce back. My crashed marriage affected me mentally and physically. A child was involved and I was left alone to take care of him without his father. It drained me for some years but thankfully, I was able to bounce back. I just needed time off for myself and my son. We all fall but our ability to rise again makes us strong.”

The actress also maintained that though some people expected actresses to expose their bodies, she would not do that. She said, “I have quite a number of followers and I’m also a brand influencer. Social media users may expect one to expose one’s body but I have had my fair share of controversies and won’t go that route again. It’s about me and what I want to show the world. I just want to be myself. Many people have left the scene but I’m thankful that God brought me back. It was not an easy ride but with God, things have been easy for me.”

We are talking about the bleached Uche Iwuji and you are veering off to another thing altogether.
What is the relationship between welcoming the bleached Uche and winning souls?
Or you just hate Christ with all your passions?

    8. Madam judge Judy, I hope you know you will give account of every word you speak one day. You will come and tell God who made you judge.

    9. If the one you know was black, then it certainly wasn't this one OR your eyesight may need to be checked.

She is standing beside a regular dark complexioned person and she is many shades lighter than him, yet you say that she’s very dark. Perhaps you will call her husband charcoal if you call her dark.

  3. Lord help us with these crashed marriages here and there. Our men and women dont calm down nwdays. Especially the men with cheating.
The truth is in marriage,u cant have two hard headed people. One person has to be the calm one and ready to make peace.
My husband is the type that is quiet, doesnt talk much but is deadly when it comes to giving you silent treatment, hes a mans man and does his duties well. Im the one that is even loud.
For peace to reign im the one dat does the apologising and tries to resolve things. Call it a mumu move, but its worked for me.
He is too hard-headed,so i have to take dat role of peace-maker.

    1. I'm the opposite oh!
So far as I know I'm right? Ha, we go dey there! I also know how to give silent treatment

    2. It's not mumu at all. That's wisdom. Many men are like that because of pride and ego. Once they see their woman is trying to prove bossy, they will put up walls and that is when it becomes tug of war to get them to see your point of view.

With ur method, you'll find that you will still be able to get your way Las Las. Learnt that from my mum too n I used to see her as mumu then but their marriage is still standing strong years later n now I understand. At the end of the day there is nothing she wants from my dad that he does not do.

    3. We just need to understand that these men are not perfect no matter how they polish themselves. They are like half bottle of water, we are to complete the water and make it full not to reduce the water.

My dear no be mumu, we are to win them for Christ via our characters/attitudes.

  9. So, does this mean that when a marriage breaks both the "faulter" and "faultee" are affected?

  11. Good to see her again. I hope she improved her acting skills while she was away.
Brings to mind Chiege Alisigwe who I remember as a decent actress before her hiatus and was happy to see her back, only to be cringing from embarrassment at her scenes in new movies.

  12. So sorry for littering with my comments but I would like to say…. She’s a really pretty lady, she should try lose some weight. I know it’s not easy as I’ve been trying trying to drop the ‘pandemic-20’ (which is 10pounds in my case) but she should just try. Waist trainer will do zilch for her and she shouldn’t even think of liposuction and bbl, except she intends to lipo her arms too.

    1. Why should she lose weight? She looks great.

    2. From her IG photos, she would benefit from dropping a few. And I see her using waist trainers in a lot of them, hopefully she knows they won’t do nothing for her

    4. It is HER body, so it's not for you to determine what will benefit her or not. After all, we don't advise you about your body, do we?

  13. If you are a top runs girl, make sure you do deliverance before you move into your husbands house. Even before you choose w life partner. Those evil spirits will follow you and becloud your judgement. They will make you choose wrongly and you end up single.
As a runs girl, getting married is usually seen as the achievement. Until you realise that you have entered. That mentality of I I runs and do church after marriage....when you do the Church after marriage you will find out that you are already in hot soup. Na wetin dey do all of them.
