  4. Most men love to spend on women they love...mostly to show affection and care. Also when a ma does not spend on you and you do everything yourself. The man's heart is hardly ever with you. Most of them tend to take women they dont spend on for granted. This is common with most nigerian men. Thats why you see a man dating a lady, collects money from her and go invest it in another relationship. If a man is not spending for you. He def spending it somewhere else.

  5. There's nothing bad collecting money from your man when dating but it shouldn't be seen as an entitlement. People shouldn't be attacked as well for not collecting, it's all about choice. I saw how people dragged Eniola for her choice, it was so wrong. If that makes her happy, who are we to cry over it? Body shamming her is totally wrong. There's a man for every woman and so we should let her be. Some of us even like it big like her. People should just let her be for Christ sake.

  9. Lmaoo personally ehn I am team collect oo. Independent or not, working or not, some of this rules are unspoken, no man should wait for a woman to ask before he does the needful. It is biologically, emotionally, physically, mentally okay for a man to give and a woman to receive and vice versa

  11. My fellow ladies, plsss and plsss, collect money from men. I believe love is giving, cos the Bible says that God so loved that HE Gave... A man that loves you will be happy to give, it's actually an indication that he loves and cares. I didn't collect from an ex, he took from me and invested in another who eventually left him for a bigger donor. I learnt my lesson but dnt over stress it, also encourage him to invest for his future and family. If it ends well, better for u both. But if all goes south, at least u wouldn't be feeling used. Just be good and plain, whatever that's urs will one day come. Good luck.

  12. I co-sign!!!
In my first ever relationship, because we were both students, I thought I would do 50-50 relationship. Omo, it ended up being 90-10 with me offering 90. And this was a guy with parents who were wealthy!!! I was the one now doing most of the spending. One time he ‘borrowed’ money from me to buy phone, refused to pay back on agreed date, and I had run out of money. Had to beg for #50 transport money in my last bus on my way back home that weekend.
    Chai! A whole Bekee!!! 😭😭

Anyway, thankfully, I learnt that lesson very early. Never start out a relationship with most of the giving coming from you the woman. In fact you should do all the receiving initially. Then when he commits you start to give. If not, you go hear whhiiiinn! for man hand.

My mantra is “I’m not an independent woman”
To all my independent ladies, kudos to you. Continue the good work. But I wasn’t built for that life

  18. This is one of the reason I ended my last relationship. I bought him a designer shirt that he said he liked for vals. My bday nothing vals day nothing. I told him why doesn’t he make an effort to even buy me a gift he was telling me shit so I ended it. I’m a strong believer that men spend on what they love. Don’t tell me you love me and not even buy me a gift. On top of this not even having my time in a LDR I just walked away I can’t shout. My heart is broken because I truly opened my heart to love him and showed him I loved him but I guess it wasn’t meant to be so I dipped!!
