Femi Babafemi, NDLEA’s Director of Media and Advocacy confirmed this in a statement released on Tuesday June 22,2021.
He noted that Ofoma was arrested in Auchi, Edo state.
He said Ofoma has an online catering service, Omachis kitchen, through which she sells drugged cookies and biscuits.
He said:
“Following intelligence and surveillance, narcotic officers of the Edo State Command of the Agency on Saturday 19th June 2021, stormed her operational base where she was arrested and at least 94 pieces of cookies produced with cannabis Sativa were recovered.”
“Chioma, 26, who is a graduate of medicine from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka recently completed her house manship at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital. She has confessed to baking the cookies with a skunk (in her statement) while under interrogation.

I think earlier this year they caught a lady doing this exact tin. I am confused pls. Do they do it to make people that buys it high just to increase sales???? Or wat???
ReplyDeleteThe customers are aware usually. Some people would rather eat their wee.d than smoke it. That’s what they call ‘edibles’.
DeleteThe demand for it is high o, it is a very lucrative business, and their customers are usually upper class. I don't think they sell to unsuspecting public cause it is a bit expensive
Delete26! 🚶🚶🚶🚶🚶
DeleteSome prefer their weed this way, there's a name it's called (cookies with weed infusion).
DeleteTheir customers know where and how to find the vendors.
I just came from her business IG page, few followers but looks good and like someone who would grow overtime.
Why madam doctor??? Money I guess. She is probably a consumer too.
Yeah adabekee, edibles it is.
DeleteI know people when de sell this stuff o, dem full my status, it's almost normal, they are usually cakes🤣🤣🤣🤣
DeleteThese news are becoming too rampant, earlier this year, we read here about how a lady and her fiance were doing this same thing but selling their own products to school children in Abuja. Isn't that the height of wickedness? Getting primary and secondary school students hooked on drugs at a tender age. Not only Buhari and his government are wicked, the wickedness of Nigerians to other Nigerians, is overwhelming.
ReplyDeleteDo the people buying it know that it's drugged? What was her objective exactly?
ReplyDeleteThey know it’s drugged. It’s actually specially requested for. It’s more expensive and they don’t sell it to the general unsuspecting public.
DeleteI don't understand o. Is it that customers want their cookies drugged or they are oblivious of what Is in the cookie?
ReplyDeleteYes. The customers are aware. In fact it is based on order. It’s no biggie here in Abuja. It’s called brownie. Not only cookies but cakes too.
DeleteThe customers are very aware and specifically request for it.
DeleteI wonder what joy she derived in doing this to human being.
ReplyDeletePeople know what they are buying. havnt you heard of brownies before.
DeleteIv never tried one but im well aware its sold and ppl demand and order for it. Even serve at get-togethers.
She dey even denge and dey pose..
ReplyDeleteSmh, good name means nothing to this generation..
Cj
Heard same story at camp area in abeokuta, they even had a delivery bike, well orchestrated scheme and it was located in student populated area.
ReplyDeleteI'll like to know her reason behind this. May God deliver and save us eating what will send us to our graves.
ReplyDeleteMoney definitely.
DeleteThank you. No one is disturbing customers in the beer parlor or prostitutes on the streets. This is a case of willing buyer, willing seller. The noise is just a distraction from how bad things are despite having rulers on ground.
DeleteWonders shall never end...
ReplyDeleteIs she doing it on her customer's demand abi what..I don't understand.Thank God she's caught.if we're complaining of bad govt, this one too go put mouth..na wa.
ReplyDeletePeople demand for it.
DeleteIts even codedly sold on instagram.
What's her motive for doing it? Don't just understand what prompted this wicked act....
ReplyDeleteObviously money. Hope she doesn't sell to people that are not aware that the cookies are drugged.
DeleteIt's not about money cos she's from a very rich home. And it was specifically requested for. Someone ratted her out
Delete*yimu* na rich kids dey do runs pass. You won't know what happens behind closed doors. When their parents run out of money they try to cover up with other things so people won't know
DeleteSome people actually request to have some of these things put in theirs like weed. Some people in Abuja selling brownies cookies and others with weed in it. Most of them are based on request but if she’s doing it without the knowledge of her customers then it’s a crime!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat is the difference between non drugged cookies and drugged cookies
ReplyDeleteDumb dumb que
DeleteAre you seriously asking this question?
DeleteYour question was answered fully in the article. Just read it
DeleteMaybe you don eat edibles why you excited, see Jamb question
DeleteVery intelligent question! I will need to refer to research articles to respond accordingly.
DeleteShe had a bright future. Why do you have to do this to yourself when you are about to shine? Sad.
ReplyDeleteAs long as she was selling to her 'select' market and her 'select' clientele I don't care. Bigger things to worry about than adults eating weed cookies that they asked for.
ReplyDeleteGod help us in this country...
ReplyDeleteI hope she doesn’t lose her license here because of this. I keep wondering what led her into this. Chioma’s family are doing ok. All her siblings are professionals abroad (at least I know of 2 doctor brothers and a pharmacist sister, all in US) and she’s the baby of the house.
ReplyDeleteShe was supposed to move to US and join them after her service.
I hope this news doesn’t negatively impact her ability to practice in US After spending 7yrs in school for medicine.
May God help you dear. This Is so sad.
Well, they can pool together and get her the best lawyer money can buy. Cause she will need excellent representation to come out unscathed. She did take an oath and the medical profession frown on moral missteps, but miracles do happen.
DeleteShe MUST lose her licences.
DeleteThe Hippocratic oath is not a nursery rhyme.
Same way policemen, lawyers etc who endanger the lives of those they swore to protect are not fit to even live much less answer to a profession.
That her family has money doesn't doesn't she sees it oh. Look at her does she look like someone chopping money? Even her skin is dull. Abeg leave this matter.... family money doesn't translate to personal money. But people won't tell you
DeleteNa wa...herbal doc
ReplyDeleteShe wrote on her Instagram bio that she is a Recipe Tweaker...LOL
ReplyDeleteAt 26,see how you dragged the name of your family into your mess because of your love for money
Means, she takes it too
