''Dear Stella,
I know your blog is widely read hence my email to you.
Kindly help me use your platform to ask fellow blog Bvs if they know of any good hospital in Benin City where I can carry out a fibroid and cyst removal surgery successfully. I am so scared due to the recent news of deaths from fibroid surgery complications.
I am willing to go to Lagos for the surgery too if need be.
Please is there any way I will know when you post this on the blog?
Thank you''

Good day, BVs. Please I would like to go into importation of human hairs but do not know how to go about it. I have 100,000 as capital. Please kindly assist me and put me through. Thank you for anticipated response. Have a great day ahead.
ReplyDelete100k for human hair importation. Please focus on increasing your capital for now.
DeleteI don't think 100k will be enough
DeleteI think u should try to increase ur capital otherwise you will end up getting low quality hairs u might not be able to sell.or better still you can look for a good hair vendor here and dropship for now till u have a little more added to ur capital.
DeleteAny UK student in the house? Please how do I apply for my masters?I need HELP BIKONU

My post here. No response at all.
Please I need a very good body cream ....I’m a very fair lady
ReplyDeleteTry extract cream
DeleteTry Himalaya fairness cream
DeleteGood day Stella and BVs
ReplyDeleteReally need idea online money making
Currently on my MSc, Working as a teacher to fend for myself but its not enough especially with the hike in price of foodstuff.
Any online platform to have has an additional stream of income?
Try register on upwork.
DeleteThanks so much
DeleteI've successfully signed up
Is it real?
DeleteI am TTC. Please where can l get a good gynecologist or fertility specialist in Abuja
ReplyDeletePlease I’m always having this burning sensation after my menses(especially when I used Always pad)Please how do I treat this
ReplyDeleteYou are probably reacting to it. Try Ladycare, Molped or any other good brand.
DeleteTry another pad to see if the burning sensation will occur.
DeleteI agree with anonymous 14: 18 Molped is very good and that is what I use...Also pat that area dry after bathing and use powder to dry your underparts...I hope it helps..
DeleteMy son only manages to eat pap. So I add ground crayfish to the pap and his formula. To at least make it richer. Someone was saying I should wash pumpkin leaves and use the water to make the pap... Idk cos I don't want any pcv/low iron issues in this life abeg. I'm freaking out cos his pcv once dropped to 22%. It's 30% now sha
ReplyDeleteI'll really appreciate good suggestions. Thanks
Ugu is a very good source of iron. If you use it continuously you'll get good results. But when the PCV is high enough, you might want to discontinue the ugu treatment to avoid iron overload.
DeleteDeworm him.
DeleteBuy age specific milk if you can afford.
Try feeding him one egg per day, fried or boiled as he prefers.
You can do meat/fish and Ugu/Spinach vegetable puree to increase his iron levels
DeleteIf he's a sickle cell carrier, go see a paediatrician for best diet and medication. Don't take chances
DeleteTry supplementing with iron supplement then. Speak with a doctor.
DeleteCook sweet potatoes under low heat, with just a little g.oil. Then mash an egg yolk into it before adding his formula. It should have a nice creamy texture. You can also try scrambled eggs, ground beef and mix together with plain macaroni, then let him feed himself with his hands(just ensure they are clean, you can even encourage him by eating with him). Invest in a good blender, for chicken, red meat and liver. Boiled and mashed ripe plantain. Add a little home made soy milk to his pap . Pls, once he's up to a year or more, switch to full cream milk, not skimmed. Have you tried okro soup with agidi? If he likes it, then you are in luck, just blend liver and meat or chicken into it. Give him small portions of food and try to feed him more than three times a day. Pls no need for Maggi and sugar in his meals if he's under one. Having a picky child isn't easy, but he will be fine. Pls get him supplements, I used "well kid". It was pricy but worth it. Feroglobin is ok too. Get him a lovely and colourful plate for eating. Then lastly, take him for a malaria test, malaria kills blood cells
DeleteFidel I forgot to add that you shouldn't feed him the mashed liver more than 3x a week. Liver raises pcv levels dramatically and is very rich in vitamin A, so, it shouldn't be any everyday meal.
DeleteAlways consult a doctor on health issues. If u want to add ugu or crayfish to the meals pls heat first. Raw food can bring on worms.
DeleteThanks guys ❤️
DeleteAnon... I want to kiss your feet. Thank you. Definitely screenshoting this
Pls ensure you use milk for his specific age If hes below 3 years. Use Cerelac also. Its rich in iron, iodine and vitamins. Blending so many feeds together in the bid to enrich his diet may also have diverse effects, so I suggest you do this with caution. Eggs, chicken fish beef contain iron and protein that the body can use readily.
DeleteBVs,what do y'all suggest that one use to clear off skin allergy(face)? I am asking for my sibling
ReplyDeleteIkwakwakwa at skin allergy on the skin.
DeleteLet the skin rest from harsh chemicals
Use natural aloe vera gel
DeleteKro kro dey your face? Kpele. Use kerosene.
DeleteAnonymous flibbertigibbets,i sight you..Thanks are in order @Phoenix
DeleteABEG my lovely bv's, which other soap is like extract soap? I think fake extract is now plenty outside. I so love the soap.
ReplyDeletePls, tell me another bathing soap exactly like extract, thanks
Try this papaya soap or Huawei soap...You are right.Extract soap has plenty fakes...But the original one is usually made from Turkey or Philippines..
DeleteHawaii soap, K Brothers, Original Idole soap
DeleteOr try naked glutathione soap.
DeleteTry Asantee soap
DeleteHawaii soap is good. The papaya is my favorite, but there's another for exfoliating
DeleteHmm you better avoid that Asantee soap. I used it for a while and yes,it made my skin glow o but omo when it started giving me things that look like stretch marks on my legs,i flung the other bars i had and ran.
DeletePlease help, I hope my phone isn't hacked!
ReplyDeleteWhen I open chrome and i want to comment, it shows my e-mail on which I click on immediately but now when I open chrome it takes me to TON and when I click on TON , it takes me to another e-mail which isn't registered on my phone at all and the mail is something like this.....yyyeeerrrttt@gmail.com
What does this mean? Thanks
You probably have not updated your browser (Chrome) and this makes it prone to malware by scammers.
DeleteThose links you've been clicking on are phising links with embedded viruses that could compromise your phone and hijack your contacts, microphone, email.
Pls BVs what can I use to eradicate lice on my baby's hair.
ReplyDeleteFor a baby ? I think it's better you cut it
DeleteCut the hair
DeleteHow old is your baby? Don’t apply lice treatment on 0 - 10 months babies and please don’t cut it. Rather apply conditioner on wet hair and comb through. Do it multiple times for a week.
DeleteYou don't need to cut it, my babies once had it. Wash the hair with mild hot water, shampoo and Dettol disinfectant.
DeleteTowel dry after wash, when dry, Part into tiny sections as if you want to make weaving in her hair. Apply CACATIN hair cream on on the parted portions. Pack it together in a bun and tie with a scarf🧣 or cover with a cap. Remove after two hours and comb out. You'll see the dead lice on the floor. Repeat every 2 days till it clears out. Don't forget to wash scarf, cap , pillow cases and sheets after use to avoid coming back.
Thanks so much.. I'm grateful.she is 5years old.
DeleteFor 5 years old you can cut the hair. Its the best treatment.
DeleteBusiness ideas I can start with 500k.Im in Lagos and currently unemployed.
ReplyDeleteAt what age do we start feeding babies food such as pureed vegetables and fruits?
ReplyDeleteAlex' paediatrician has given us the go ahead since she's 4 months already.
In Nigeria, what food do u give babies as their first food other outside breast milk and formula. Pls help a new mother abeg 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Pap, friso, nutrend, small swallow with okro soup.
DeleteMarshed rice.
Marshed sweet potatoes
Try Avocado pear puree
DeleteIn Nigeria we give PPA asin Akumu aside cereals and every other thing we eat including fufu
DeletePap, guinea corn and millet. Some persons give custard.
DeleteI start at six months. I breastfeed exclusively till six months and then introduce pap, different cereals, fruits, pureed foods etc
DeleteEka I beg no give custard o.
DeletePap*
DeleteIn Nigeria, we give mashed potatoes, yam, pureed vegetables like ugu, carrots etc.
DeleteThat is what we do in Nigeria.
4 months is ok, though most start at 6months. If you want to give her mashed potatoes and other homemade food, then make it very light for easy digestion. Mashed potatoes and egg yolk with her formula is good. Pap and mashed avocados are also good. There are also cereals in supermarkets for 4 month old babies. I didn't start my kids on agidi and soup, mashed meats and macaroni till they were 6months. Whatever you choose to give her, pls observe her stool, that's the easiest way of knowing if any food is good/bad for your baby.
DeleteThank you all. Let me verify which of these options are for 4 months.
DeleteSomebody please help me, how much would it cost me to do newspaper publication for change of name?
ReplyDeleteAnswer please.
From 5k to 8k.
DeleteDaily trust and nation newspapers are the cheapest
I did mine for N5k
DeleteIt's not more than #5,000 or #6,000
DeleteI did mine for 3k earlier in the year.
DeleteWith guardian news paper, its 3500
DeleteSorry, its 5k I paid, not 3k with The Nation newspaper
DeleteI did mine last week punch newspaper 9,630 for 2 space, I think a space is 5,000 something sha.
DeleteDoes anyone use a dehydrator here?
ReplyDeleteCan you recommend a good brand please and its attendant cost?
hello,
ReplyDeletepls must I change my surname after marriage. hubby didn't mind initially but now he is acting like I deliberately don't want to change my surname. thing is all my certs from bears my dads name. I have 2 prof certifications and 2 masters and registered company name with it so I don't know how I will just discard the name. how can I navigate through this?
Go to court get an affidavit with your marriage certificate.
DeleteThen newspaper publication. That all
You can do a change of name, and a one and the same person affidavit. The change of name would state that all other documents on your maiden name remain valid. You must not change your name actually, you know your hubby better. You can dig your feet in and ride out the storm if your mind go gree you. Otherwise, change your surname sis, it doesn't invalidate you in anyway.
DeleteMadam live your names like that. Add his name on social media and any other thing that need be.
DeleteProfessional and work level, continue with your name. The stress of changing names credential wise is not easy.
Be wise.
DeleteYou can change it if it's a bother to him.
That's why the change of name always comes with "All former documents remain valid"
It doesn't affect whatever documents you have done before marrying him.

My own question is - Why is Stella called Jeweluchi?
ReplyDeleteShe requested to be called that some weeks back.
Delete@Fabulous onyx Stella woke up one morning and announced that she has changed her'Igbo' name from what it was before to Jeweluchi. She said she loves the name and if anybody wants to press her mumu button you should just call her Jeweluchi.
DeleteThat's her mumu botton
Deletelols.. I remember one woman who asking for a name that has CHI or so in it to call her baby girl and Stella suggested Jeweluchi and said she is so much in love with the name and that she has adopted the name in place of stella. so anyone who calls stella Jeweluchi will be in her good book of.........
DeleteI find it very difficult changing my wardrobe be it clothes, shoes, bags and just prefer stocking the monies in my bank account. AT the end of each year, I will plan and make a list of office and church dresses to start the new year with but ends up not buying them till the end of that year again. Is this a disease or stinginess? I admire ladies who dresses well but find's it difficult to dress myself up always having the imagination of me in those good dresses but wont shop for them but will end up helping people with the money especially my family members or just prefer saving for the future and raining days. I need help
DeleteAnonymous 15: 17 Awww I understand you and I think it comes in a place of fear of lack of basic needs and wants. What I will advice is when saving, there must be a purpose why you are saving money..Its good to save but don't do it to detriment of your own needs...Clothing is the basic need of every human after Air, Food and Shelter...You are doing great by doing END OF THE YEAR STOCK taking; you have to discipline yourself and stick to that list..Maybe the clothes you have are sufficient for you or you just merely admire clothes on others and when sometime comes up, you just move on to other things....
DeleteJust learn to place priorities on what you need and go for it...
Yes you need help 15:17. See a therapist. I tell people I am No 1,2,and 3 in my life. Anybody can struggle for the next position. Call it selfishness, na you sabi.
DeleteMy own problem is that i hardly buy clothes or shoes or even if i manage to buy them i might end up not liking them. But na food dey chop my money wella.
DeleteThank you St Elsewhere Phoenix. I appreciate your understanding
DeleteAnon 15:17...This is one of the reasons my colleague left his ex wife, she works hard year to year and then shares all her money to her siblings only to start from square one the next year. He said she didn't know how to package herself, from clothes, to hair, to underwear, she always looked haggard yet she earns well. I tried to ask him if he tried to help her but that discussion always dampens his mood so I stopped asking but reflected on it a bit.
DeleteAre you sure those people you give are not jazzing you? If we can rule out the spiritual angle, then you need to work on yourself cos you have a "saviour" or a "matyr" complex,. The Bible says a laborer is worthy of his wages, the good part is that you have identified it is a problem, you plan your finances, that's good, keep the largest portion for investment, plan the rest with a portion for your wardrobe and any other aspect you wish to upgrade.
You can employ the services of a personal shopper (one you can trust) to help you buy and match good quality outfits that will fit your body type and make you look good for both formal, semi formal and casual outfits. Nice hair that fits you, good shoes etc. Trust me you will feel a lot better and look better when you are always well packaged. All the best.
15:17, u just said it for me. At times, I just set aside an amount, close eye and splurge. Otherwise, that cycle u described will just go on. Be sure to set aside a specific amount and make sure ur savings are safe so that u don't go over the bend when u finally drag urself out to spend.
DeleteTo my career women on this blog, how did you people upgrade in your profession in order to get better placement. What did you do?
ReplyDeleteHere is an overview, I studied marketing, I have worked in different firms as customer care presentative and as front desk staff respectively.
How do I have from this point, what can I do to get better opportunities.
Want to go for MSC or MBA but in which course?
Y'all should help a sister I don't want to keep doing this front desk officer work I done tire, I need a change.
Identify the field you want to specialize in and start working on it asper getting certifications. I know someone that read Economics and was working as a PA to one big man in a big company. She realized that this her work experience so far won't really be sustainable as that PA thing doesn't exist in every company and her opportunities will be limited.
DeleteShe did an MSC in Human Resource Management and also did CIPMN, then found a way to get transferred to HR dept from the PA position (it's always easier to swap departments in your existing organization as any new place will want you to have experience in the dept you are applying for). She has been working in HR since then and she is in the third organization now. Just make a move to acquire a certification in the field you want to build your career.
How do friends collect their friends destiny so that we can know and guard against it and also be watchful.
ReplyDeleteHello everyone,
ReplyDeletewanted asking if there is any hope for someone who studied dairy science in nigeria because it aint easy getting a job in the feild here, so i rely mostly on my side hustle.please anyone with a recommendation link or scholarsip link can also help. I will deeply appreciate.
Of course, if someone that studied Fishery is working in the bank nothing is impossible in Nigeria
DeleteJust know someone that knows someone
Dimples, not all the time. Anon, some people start as graduate trainees. If your grade is good, some companies like to recruit freshest and train them, even banks. Wherever your strength is after the training, they take you to that department.
DeleteMeanwhile, why not change career path? Try taking courses in HR . Data analytics is a good area that pays well if you know what you’re doing. Don’t be afraid of it, you can do it.
All the best
In a situation whereby you no longer have the original death certificate of a deceased but you have the photocopy, what can be done to claim the money in the deceased account being the next of kin and whom the money was intended for in the absence of a will? Can the question of original death certificate be by-passed? or i should just swear an affidavit?
ReplyDeleteWhere is the original?
DeleteHow do you know you are the next of kin?
The unfortunate thing is if the deceased didn't put you as his next of kin, legal tussle go dey.
Hope it's not like you want to cheat the rightful people?
Just please get a lawyer.
So my late mum used my younger brother as her next of kin but used my phone number on the account so i know how much is presently there. On the issue of the original death certificate, my uncle who is my late mum's brother took the certificate from my brother with the hope selling one of my late mum's property but up till this very moment, we haven't heard from that my uncle and his number isn't reachable either . It's getting to 4 years now and infact he is outside the country as my late mum was also based outside the country. So let's say i'm doing all these for my kid brother to have access to the money which isn't up to 200k, as my brother still has the photocopy of her death certificate.
DeletePlease house can a 6 blades rechargeable blender blend coconut, tiger nut etc. I need such blender that I can go out with or travel with without causing me inconvenience.
ReplyDeleteI want to apply for a teaching job, but my baby is just four months old and I'm on exclusive breastfeeding. Will I be able to get the job considering my baby is still very young??
ReplyDeleteYou can be lucky if the school has a creche/daycare where you can put the baby while you work.
DeletePlease what’s the best formula for a newborn?
ReplyDeleteSimilac
DeleteEnfamil

ReplyDeleteMy question now is, If l want to go for MSc, what course would l focus or which sites on YouTube would l get certificate for free?
PS,I tutor Phonics presently
Thanks
Use Alison will help for free courses or check Udemy not very sure
DeleteThe BV in Benin that needs hospital recommendation for fibroids surgery, since you said you don't mind coming to Lagos, I would recommend Hamkard Hospital for you, they are good and have specialists, both in-house specialists and consultants, their fees is affordable. They are located at Abule-Egba, U-turn bus stop, Lagos. I have used them before on two different occasions and I can tell they are good. I wish you successful surgery.
ReplyDeleteThose in the UK, how's life over there? I am in health care and got a band 6 job offer with certificate of sponsorship. I want to relocate with my kids. Will I be able to cope with two kids because I hear discouraging things about taxation, is it too cold? I need to make up my mind fast. I need encouragement. Will I enjoy living in England?
ReplyDeleteKeep dulling you hear?
DeleteThose are valid questions, ignore that anon.
DeleteYes taxation is high but if you live outside London, your living costs will be lower. Read up online on Income tax bands to get an idea of how much net income you will have after tax. Look on rightmove or zoopla to have an idea of rent prices for the area you will be in.
Anon Dee, don't end up in libya with this kind of desperation o.
DeleteWell your concerns are not out of place, but trust me when I say that if you survived in Nigeria, you will survive there. You may not earn as high as you would in Canada or USA but there are perks like free healthcare and free school for your kids. Also, consider that the environment is safer and there are more opportunities for growth than in Nigeria. You have what most people want right now, don't misuse this opportunity. I will be relocating soon with my family too. Also talk to God about it.
DeleteNot also but MOST IMPORTANTLY talk to God about it. The key thing is being where God wants you to be, not necessarily where everyone is running to.
DeleteWell said Anon 19:09
DeleteAre your kids young? How do you hope to cope with childcare and work?
DeleteIf your salary is decent, you will be fine.
As per cold, it is not as cold as Canada.
Thank you Ms Abroadian. Chidiogo, if your partner is not coming with you, you need to think long and hard about child care cost. If you will be with your partner, then I can say you’ll enjoy England.
DeleteMartin's please stella blog on my phone doesn't load pictures anymore likewise Google. What can one I do to rectify this..
ReplyDeleteMartin and other bvs,pls help.
Any human hair for #5,000? Something durable and fluffy
ReplyDeleteLOL. You wont even see synthetic hair for 5k. You wan steal am? You funny oo
DeleteDem go give you iron sponge for wig ooo if you no take time! 5k for fluffy wig,i laugh in Chinese!!
DeleteLmaooooo, they wii sell you native sponge o.
DeleteOr you buy Yaki 'Filip'?
Please you guys should help me i don't know how to dress well no matter how hard i try to dress i end up looking too simple and i hardly spend money on buying outfits, shoes or jewelries but can spend all my money on food.
ReplyDeleteYou mustn't rob a bank to look good. Just know how to combine your wears appropriately. Looking good has to do with how neat your hair is, how stylish your wears are and how great your foot wears are. So in summary, your hair, clothes and shoes must be in check. Then every other thing is a bonus eg jewelries, makeup etc
DeleteEmploy the services of an online shopper, tell her the style you have in mind and let her shop for you considering your body type. After a while, you will be more savvy in choosing outfits to buy. be careful so she doesn't start inflating prices unduly.
DeleteDarlin' get a personal stylist immediately!!!
DeleteWhat's the point eating like a whale and looking shabby and unimportant???
I love styling myself (hair/clothing/accessories) and I have a personal code for each outfit. Anything under 8 I discard or I try to upgrade till it reaches a 9 and half.
Imagine when you step into a place and people have to stop to complement you on your outfits, day in day out?
Yes, that's the effect.
You must know how to combine everything to make a statement.
Your youth is for looking utterly fab, don't waste it!!!❤
Thanks Anon 19:16 can you be my stylist? ASAP
DeletePls where can I buy stylish, trendy, good quality, affordable clothe; including English suits for women?
ReplyDeleteBalogun lagos island..
DeletePerxian can you suggest body oil I can use. I’m chocolate and I want to glow very well. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSweetie, eucerin body oil is really good and for all skin types.
DeleteHi, pls my husband and I are interested in relocating abroad, we are looking at Canada or Australia. He has a distant cousin in canada n I also have a distant relative in canada but we have no one in Australia. We have 2kids and a relative living with us presently. We would like to travel with her also as her parents are late. Hubby dropped out of school due to some personal reasons n I have a HND cert. Do we stand a chance of relocating with our very little educational degree? though we plan on going back to school once we settle in. And how much money will cover visas, flight tickets, rent n feeding at least for a few months till we get a job.
ReplyDeleteSince you are all travelling together budget like 15-20m to cover air tickets, Visas, rent, feeding, schooling etc.

ReplyDeleteYou may be able to get something from 2001 or 2002 Nigerian Used Toyota Corolla.
DeletePlease between coconut oil and Shear butter which one is best for the skin ?
ReplyDeleteShea butter. It's advisable to apply as night cream so that it doesn't darken your skin when you go in the sun.
DeleteMy opinion coconut oil.
DeleteBoth are good but personally I use shea butter(palmer's) for my skin and coconut for my hair. I am light skinned and I began my natural hair journey in 2018. No more perms and loving it.
DeleteShea butter is the best for me
DeleteIf you can get original coconut oil, you are good to go
