Former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has won all the 21 local government areas of Anambra State in the governorship primary election held in Awka on Wednesday June 23rd by the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, for the November 6 ,2021 governorship election.

ReplyDeleteThe major issue Prof. Soludo has to contend with is that of the factionalisation of APGA.
ReplyDeleteHe won the guber primaries in one faction of his party, while the other faction has suspended him and declared the entire process that produced him as null and void.
INEC on the other hand are saying that since they didn't monitor the process that produced him, APGA will likely be absent on the ballot box.
So it is not yet a fait accompli for Soludo.
