Check Out Wrong Mindset Some Men Have Concerning Life And Marriage

Popular relationship expert and founder of the David's Christian Centre, Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo has highlighted wrong mindset many men have about life and marriage.

Here's what he said:

"Some men believe that headship is rulership. Many men have a superiority complex. Men need to understand that when the Bible declares men as the head of the home, God was talking about the man taking responsibility in his family.

A leader inspires people to do things, while a ruler makes use of force.

Many men believe that they must have a lot of money before starting a family. For this reason a lot men are not yet married.

Many men believe that if they have money, people in their homes will respect them and I don't know where they got this idea from. Truly, there are many women who are materialistic, and I advice men to avoid such women. Men need to understand that the 21st century woman is independent, hence, she may not be impressed by your money alone.

Apart from your money, your woman desires respect, care and affection. These virtues can a good woman to love you.

Many men hate to be told what to do. Unlike women, men are internally motivated, that is why many men don't discuss their challenges with people. Women like to be influenced from outside. That is why more women attend church meetings and counselling sessions.

Men need to understand that it is okay to take advice from both men and women about finances, marriage and other areas of life. Most men believe that asking another man for advice, would make them come off as weak. Men need to conquer this mindset.

They also need to realize that they don't know everything. Men need to be humble enough to let people help them."

  3. Men that feel they have superiority complex let that end in your house ooo ,don't see another woman and think you can control her and when you see your fellow men you go hiding.

Ego wouldn't let some men to grow up and learn ,when they know nothing.
Your values earns you more respect than money.
A man that can't lead his own family shouldn't blame our country leaders oo.

That a woman is materialistic doesn't make her a bad person, if she has money and can afford whatever she wants, allow her.

  8. How you operate in the home should be completely different from how you behave outside. Home should always be a loving sacred safe have space. It's fine to be yourself, you are not running your company your spouse is not your employee. You are both equals who are nurturing and supporting each other. So make your home space your safe haven and men should know that home is not the streets, no need to be hard or bossy.

  9. Nobody is a relationship expert. You might have all the qualities and still loose your relationship due to a lot of esoteric influence beyond your power and control. Marriage is a complete black market.
