This recent trend of people wanting accolades without doing the actual work has got to stop. Shortcut to success seems to be the new motto. Everybody is now a self-declared Dr, Ambassador or Professor. It’s extremely annoying.

Exactly. This is one of our major issues in the country. People seeking titles with no work. Look at the one that’s been called the president...simply does nothing. Everywhere you go idle people are asking to be addressed as Honorable, Chairman, this, that.
DeleteHonorary awards can be conferred on people who have worked for the common good. I don’t think cursing people on behalf of Uche counts. Same as the Cubans one that thinks his belly is for common good and deserves a doctorate.
