    2. Chisom, it's no longer slimy o. It's well cooked. You just need a fork to detach the snail from the bombom. Very easy and delicious. It has a special aroma

    3. I have never eaten snails like this from bayelsa ppl but I have eaten snails prepped this way in another country and those ones are the tiny snails but they remove the snails from the shells and wash before putting back in the shells where they are seasons, cooked and served

    4. Simply divine, the point is that the poop, the bum and the slime are all in the food and part of the aroma. You’re eating all of them joined together.

    5. Anon, yeah I eat all of them together but some people don't. They remove the other parts.

I'm eating boiled potatoes with butter.

How does that person intend removing the meat from that snail without cutting off the bumbum before cooking?

  6. For breakfast, Greentea and lemon...no sweetener.

For lunch, pineapple and cucumber smoothie.

    Dinner, oat and afang soup.

Been eating this way for the past one week and my stomach is really blasting. Sometimes I just eat cooked food in the afternoon and then drink my smoothie for dinner.

I have gone from 79kg to 76.1 as @ this morning. Me that dropped from 78 to 70... now weighing this much. The devil is a 'baskat' 😂😂😂😂

  16. I first saw that pic on twitter last week and I was so so shocked! Few days ago a very popular food blogger on IG was in bayelsa for a food tour. He ate this. Watching his IG stories was out of this world mehn. It even showed when the food vendor was having it prepared. Gave so much perspective. So many foods from diff tribes in Nigeria..

Breakfast for me this morning is eba and okro. Missed it

  18. Please, whomever that posted that food up there should stop it. We the Bayelsans don't prepare our snail in that manner.
We crack the mouth and cut off the bottom part of the snail, wash it properly before cooking it.
Whomever is claiming this is the new pattern of cooking had better stop it now.
Besides, that thing up there doesn't look enticing one bit but an eyesore.
