''Stella I am the one who posted about my severe reaction a while back in Match (I think).
I finally took my second dose 2 days ago and my reaction was almost non-existent. Nothing compared to the first dose. Infact I was jumping around, laughing and smiling.
However, I still had very little reactions only noticed by me; including; severe hunger. I'm not a foodie and I'm very selective with my meals but the Hunger I felt in the last two days is something else. Like every 3hrs is like I haven't eaten in 2days then there was the back pain but not as severe as in the first dose but it was there. This I knocked out with aspirin.
Then slight chills immediately accompanied by heat the normal temperature and then it begins all over again. Like I said before, I often sleep in the nude but I had to sleep in my pyjamas and socks but no sweater and head warmer. This was because of the bouts of sudden chills. Also, no tremors.
Finally was the muscle weakness in my arm. I had to be focused when gripping especially tiny or slim objects like pencil, spoon etc. Even my phone kept slipping from my hands; thank God for screen guard.
In all I thank God. I've read several reports against the vaccine and most either have no basis or the explanations are not justifiably enough. I simply put my faith in God and took the vaccine saying what will be will be.
This is my testimony after vaccination. I thank God for my experience and I'm grateful for his mercies''
took mine last month had chills at night and general weakness but these are reactions they inform you beforehand so you are prepared they tell you to take paracetamol every 4 hrs or so ..funny thing is my mom and 90 year old uncle had no reaction
ReplyDeleteYes! That weakness was what I felt too when I woke up the following morning. Like, such lack of energy. But na me cause am. The nurse advised that I take paracetamol when I get home but I didn't because I hate drugs. I ended up taking two tabs of paracetamol the next morning.
DeleteI've had the first jab of Astra-Zeneca vaccine.
ReplyDeleteHad moderate pain around the injection site for like 3 days, and felt general malaise the next day (was well by the 3rd day).
No other issue since then, its been almost a month since the vaccination.
I'm on my way to getting my second dose of hep B vaccine jab, another painful something. I hope I complete the course this time around.
DeleteTook my first dose March and my 2nd dose is next month. The jab itself is painless,i took it around 12pm. By like 3pm my hand seriously started aching,i had taken paracetamol as adviced but it hardly did nothing. By 10pm i felt run-through like i had malaria;shivers, headache and body aches...my whole weekend was spent indoors but by monday i was fine and back to work. But guess what my hubby felt no reaction whatsoever. So u may not also, depends on each persons body.
ReplyDeleteI have taken the 1st jab and I had no reaction to it.
ReplyDeleteI have taken the first dose Few weeks ago and no reaction at all but patiently waiting for the second dose by next month.
DeleteI’ve had 1st and 2nd Astra Zeneca, no reaction. I even went to night shift immediately.
ReplyDeleteI had the 1st one few weeks ago, Pfizer. No reaction, just a sore arm which went away after 2 days - I used paracetamol on the second day.
ReplyDeleteMy observation so far is that it seems those with stronger immune system have less reactions. I may be wrong but that's what I've noticed so far.
After my first dose of Astrazeneca, I felt general malaise, serious cold& flu and delayed monthly menstral cycle.
ReplyDeleteIAM yet to take my second dose.
I took my first jab and was down for ill for 2 days. My family members no even react. Not even my 85years old father.
ReplyDeleteI know someone that took 1st jab of AZ and the vaccination spot became magnetic to small metals.
ReplyDeleteWow..
DeleteLies. It's the same thing that happens when you rub a coin or straw on wool and put it on your skin then it attracts. I took the vaccine and nothing like that.
DeleteStop dropping fake news abeg.
Exactly 12:16, don't mind all these liars and conspiracy theories.
DeleteI took the jab, I didn't react to it.
My mom too, she complained of headache and after taking paracetamol she became okay.
My husband didn't react to the jab.
My brothers complained of body aches and headache, after paracetamol they became okay.
Took my first dose two weeks ago. I was fine that day but woke up really tired with slight fever the next day. Ate breakfast, took paracetamol and felt better after 30minutes. That's it.
ReplyDeleteMy next dose is in June.
I fell ill after 12 hours of taking my first jab despite the fact I was taking paracetamol all through. I felt better after 2 days. My second one is in July and I will take days off work incase of any "incasity".
ReplyDeleteGeneral malaise for 2 straight days, lack of appetite but only felt an increase in appetite after the second jab
ReplyDeleteI took my first dose of AstraZeneca last week, I felt fine all day then around 7pm I started having body pains, headache and I was cold, couldn’t sleep and felt really ill. I took paracetamol tho. The next money my whole felt heavy and general illness lasted for a couple of days. My injection spot is still swollen
ReplyDeleteI'm in mid fifties and all I experienced was a slight pain at the injection site for a few days and nothing else. My husband who's over sixty just had a slight fever. His brother who's the same age felt absolutely nothing.
ReplyDeleteWe all took the first dose of astrazeneca in March. Waiting to take the second one from next week
ReplyDeleteYou can take now. Once it’s 8 weeks after. I took in March and took my second dose yesterday.
DeleteI took the first dose, apart from pains around the area i was injected , the other thing i observed was flatulence on another level. This went on for about 3days. Very embarrassing, i couldn't even tell the doctor
ReplyDeleteStill scared of taking it
ReplyDeleteGod forbid, I can't knowingly give myself posion, when I never born..
ReplyDeleteJoan..
You clearly don't realise there are a thousand ways to die in this world. You think it's by power? Anyway, just make sure you use face mask so you don't pass it on to others.
DeleteI took my first dose last week and only felt weak that evening but when I slept and woke up I felt alright. Waiting to take the second dose.
ReplyDeleteHaven't taken it, spirit told me to wait until August, I feel like some information will come out by then. So I am waiting for August.
ReplyDeleteTook my second jab yesterday and like the first time I had absolutely no reaction. I find that funny cos I am going through menopause and have severe hormonal imbalance. But this job didn’t affect me one bit both times.
ReplyDeleteI got my first dose of Moderna yesterday. Within 15 minutes of taking it, I felt euphoria. If you have ever pulled a teeth and you were drugged up, that feeling when you wake up with the drugs in your system is how I felt. By the next day which is today, I started to have a mild headache, body aches, fatigue and pain at the injection site. I also had vivid dreams last night. First, I saw thousands of big roaches on the wall, then I dreamt that I went to confront Bola Tinubu for his godfatherism in Lagos but I couldn't get to him and his thugs wanted to kill me and my family but I started to speak in tongues, disarmed the thugs, shot them and fled. I don't even live in Nigeria, I don't understand.
ReplyDeleteI'm still feeling weak, couldn't go to work.
My spouse also took the vaccine same day and he's only having pain at the injection site, no other symptoms.
For believers who are opposed to the vaccine, remember that the Bible says if you drink anything poisonous, it will not hurt you. So, don't let fear lead you, believe that the vaccine will cooperate with your body system.
Had my 1st shot today no symptoms yet
ReplyDeleteTook the first jab 6 weeks, no reaction.
ReplyDeleteTaking the second soon and expecting no reaction too, hopefully
