    1. Please, what natural things, (readily available or could be found in the home or found easily) can one use to whiten the teeth?
    2. What better app can one use to make videos for WhatsApp status?
    3. Any natural way to glow the skin? No money for expensive cream and soap.

    1. 1) Sensodyne toothpaste has that for teeth whitening and can be gotten from a good pharmacy..price is #1300

      2) Quality video is more of the camera(phone or soo) and lightning effect(Ring lights in this case can be bought)

But to improve if cash is a restraint;download beauty plus app;it has inbuilt lightning effect on the app and you can keep changing..

For ring lights;quality ones with tripod aren't cheap;but there are affordable ones that can help improve your pics or videos..

      Hope this helps..

    2. Thanks @Martins. My phone camera is super good. Will the beauty plus app be able to make the video I want? What I mean is: We have the birthday of a child coming up soon and the parents want to make a video showing memorable moments in the child's life. One slide could have, "At year one" on it, then few slides after would be pictures and on and on, like that, till this present year. This video would be on their laptop and WhatsApp status. Don't know if you get my point?

    3. Okay,I get you @15:19..

I use Slide video maker;you can download from your store..

There are others but slide video maker has a very easy user interface so wont stress you all..

You can also time how long you want each pictures to show before another one comes up on the screen..

To take good pictures;download that Beauty plus,no much editing needed(some still do edit)

If you still want to edit the pictures after taking;download "FACETUNE2" or "AIRBRUSH"

Both are used for professional editing but you need to play around with it and learn.

      Hope this helps..

    6. Martins please that Q7 cream you suggested. Is it the gold one sold for 5k or the white container sold for 7k. I want my skin to glow which should I buy. Thanks

      Delete
    7. @anon15.03 a natural way to glow your skin is to eat food rich in vitamins A, C and E. eat alot of green leafy vegetables, nuts such as almonds, cashew, peanuts, oranges and oily fish such as mackerel, salmon. Drink plenty of water daily and you will see a difference in the appearance of your skin. If you can afford it, you can take multivitamins. Remember that you are what you eat.

    8. Re tooth whitening: please tread with caution with whatever non- medical recommendation you choose to proceed with. Tooth sensitivity and enamel erosion are potential consequences of a DIY (do-it-yourself) approach.

    1. Put your ideas and e-skill into an Ebook, promote your ebooks as an Ad on IG and Facebook and convince people(in your Ad) on why they need to learn editing with you..

Also put "before and after" of your edited works..

Highlight is Give people reasons and they would use your product or service..

You can also do WhatsApp training and charge some fees for your tutorials..

      2. For menial jobs, you should be ok. For professional jobs, information is key. Unless you have a wealth of relevant experience. Also, your career path is important to consider.

    1. Injection for mothers? I didn't take any of such.
Maybe it's continuation of the Tetanus injection dose you took during pregnancy.

    2. The names of the vaccines are written on the baby card with the date given and the date of your next appointment, kindly check. But in case you don't see it, they are
      OPV 3
      PCV 3
      PENTA 3
      IPV.

The 3 simply means third dose.

    3. Check your baby's immunization card, it is always written there.
Usually, its pentavalent vaccine (against diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, and hepatitis B and Haemophilus influenzae type b)
Pneumococcal vaccine and then the oral polio vaccine.

    3. Airtel Youtube Night is from 1am to 5am and can be used during that period. MTN Youtube Night is from 11pm to 6am but you must finish the data you have before you can use, otherwise it will cut your data. It wasn't like that before but you know MTN take style like wuruwuru.

  19. Please BVs, I'm a lady in her early 40s. I want to change careers. I'm looking at the IT industry. My background is science and I've always being intrigued by IT. I have a lot on my mind: Graphic Design, Website Building, Data Analysis, Advanced Excel, Canva, Programming, Coding, etc .

I need help finding a starting point. How do I go about starting in a particular area, e.g Graphic Designing or Data Analysis. As a novice, what is the first thing to learn?

Please someone guide me. God bless and guide you too.

    2. @anony15.40 best to use google to do a mini research on these areas that you listed. Check job specifications for those areas to help you decide if you will want to do the day to day job
Involved in those areas of work. Also check the demand and no point training for an area it may be hard to break into as a non experienced person.
IT is wide so you need to do some thorough research before you start training.
However, if you are one of my siblings, I will advise you to go for programming/coding or cybersecurity as there is a lot of prospect in those career paths.

      Delete
    3. Anon 15.40, as other have said IT is indeed a vast area. You’ll need to narrow your search in order to target the best learning resources for your desired area.

If web development is your area of interest free online learning is available on The Odin Project or freeCodeCamp. These are self-learning methods and will require tenacity and determination if you’re to make a success of it. The good thing is you can test the waters for free before deciding whether it’s for you or not. Good luck!

    Replies
    1. Excluding your shop rent;it will get you somewhere and that is what matters..

A lot of boys here at Alaba Market and back in Aba are being settled after years with 300 to 500k and the rest is history..

Start somewhere and with time you will be restocking and adding more;its a very good business without season(people must gbensh whether economy is good or bad and the result is children)..

Leave your location and go somewhere else to learn the trade;it is very important and would help avoid some certain loss plus also open your eyes to what you never knew about the regimen of the business.

You need to know prices, quality of product, which one is being demanded more, source of product to avoid fake, and a lot..

You can never compare someone who learnt a trade to someone who just woke up and started the trade because they have the money..

For example,When you learn the trade;any loss during your training is not your business but for your Oga/Madam;and that would help you not to tow that part when you start yours;because for every mistake you make without learning that trade;MONEY MUST BE LOST as a compensation...

To avoid losing that money;learn the trade even if it's for six months;that is if you cant be patient for one year..

I took time to write just a few point for you;its way more than that..

      Hope this helps..

      @MARTINS

    2. Do you know of Mothercare Brand? Can you spot the fake??

Do you know the sizes of cloth to stock up? Do you know where to buy and get the best price??

The Baby washing set? Do you know the highest in demand? What's the price?

Do you know if zero to six months cloths have the highest demand? Or one to three years??

Do you know the best brand of Pampers now that is affordable? Do you think Mo**ix is still no one? Who is their competition?

Do you know of Kisskids brand? Dies it absorb better??

Which size of Pampers has the highest demand?

What of feeding set for new-born? Which is the most sort after? What of the second?

Trust me;there is more to that business than you can know without learning it,and if you jump in and stock the less demanded product;your money is hooked

    8. Anon 17:53 Martins has given you sound advice. It is for you to make a list of possible business ventures that suit YOUR circumstances. Martins’ recommendations may work for him but be completely unsuited to your temperament or environment.

As a woman with caring responsibilities, will you have the ability to split your time between business and motherly duties? Are you business minded or simply looking for what to do with #500k?

Not all of us are suited for business so only go into any venture if you’ve a passion and energy for it. If you must, start small; you could test the waters by opening a small kiosk/shop and see how you go with that before taking bigger steps.

If you have space in your house,You can also start Child Care centre, if you are the patient and caring type with a heart for children, plus you can easily combine that with your motherly duties to your children. If you like the business, then you can register it.

You can also invest it in an agribusiness with good ROI every month. Check out Ovaioza on Facebook. She is into food business, buying food stuff in large quantities and selling with a good profit margin. She has a lots of investors.

You can start an online and offline business selling thrift(Okrika) children's clothes or shoes. There are high quality children clothes and shoes that you can sell. You must have an eye for quality, pick a niche and learn it thoroughly. Check instagram to see how it's done.

Most importantly pray for guidance, this will make all the difference. See you at the top.

    1. Buy ginger and boil it for 10 minutes.

After cutting and washing, put it in a pot with plenty water and make sure it reduces considerably and changes colour significantly.

While it's still really hot, pour everything plus the ginger in a cup. Start sipping with a spoon. Also chew pieces of the ginger at intervals.
      Relieve should be almost instant.

      I hope this helps.
