Cyrptocrash Is Trending On Twitter And Most Social Media Platforms....

The cryptocurrency market is in freefall, with the value of the market losing almost 25 per cent over the last day.

And while the troubles have many causes, the latest drop is likely to be largely the result of new fears about regulation in China, which have caused anxiety across the market.

They come after a range of other difficulties for the cryptocurrency market. Elon Musk has been the catalyst for many of them, including his announcement last week that Tesla would stop taking bitcoin in return for cars because of the climate impact of cryptocurrency.

  7. I always go for something that is less volatile, minimum risk. Bonds, treasury bills, money market, shares, properties .The returns are low except properties, but this is has always been me. When the CBN governor was trying to protect them, he was insulted for weeks. Yes, it will rise again but it has shown it has no intrinsic value and words can easily affect trading. The US secretary of treasury has been saying it has no real value for weeks.

  8. Bitcoin or any crytocurrency is not for the faint hearted. It's highly volatile and unpredictable. U can buy 20k worth today and by afternoon it's worth 15k, it can also appreciate rapidly. So either way, it requires patient, super patient to sustain u during it's dip period as its doing now.

  15. Never invest in something you don't understand.

That's my issue with many of our people. Because you heard that Lagbaja is making money from Bitcoin, you'll go and invest in it without understanding how it works, the risks involved and if it's within your risk threshold.

Every business/investment is risky but some are riskier than others and the loss if the risk materializes may not be what you can afford.

  17. Hmmm the world economy is designed to keep the rich rich and trap the poor. That's how I put $$$ in stocks this year and lost half my money. Truth is stocks, shares, all that are no longer what they used to be. They were made to be investments, where you put money to support a company you believe in, and reap after many years. The company performs well, stock price rises, and basically you don't sell unless there's emergency. Some even leave it there for their unborn generation. Making the stocks strong, predictable and worth something. Now it has all turned to gambling. Due to technology, smart phones and apps, anyone can trade stocks, access has increased. So a lot of people are buying only to sell once there is an increase. So many people selling makes the price drop. No more patience, everybody wants to profit immediately.

The only thing I am sure of now is my monthly income from job. All these investments in a 2021 world is very unpredictable. All na legal MMM abeg. God help us.
