DeleteMy husband wears slippers with socks. In his case, he was born without the big toe nails so he had permanent artificial toe nails fixed on for him. He wears socks to prevent sand from going into his artificial toe nails. He has been doing it since the early 2000s and I'm even surprised that it is now fashion for some people.
