*He should apologise and just move on, why is he threatening to end the show?Nah who you do? slapping that lady on Live TV was wrong.... E for wait until dem go..lol
I am. Glad he apologised. Many people were praising him yesterday but didn't consider what they action would have caused him and the hundred benefactors under him. It's all about being professional and controlling emotions.
ReplyDeleteI am pretty sure the programme will continue...we learn daily.
Those people were coming for his head.
DeleteYou needed to see the comments online
People claiming they hate the show, forgetting all the good he has done.
He may just be an emotional person trying to protect his mental health.
Government officials have been looking for a way to set him up,or how to shut him down
Yes, some.Heads of Agencies and private individuals are not happy with him but my dear, the guy also "enjoys" some government privileges ooo; everyone de look for food. It's good he quickly apologised cos I am sure NBC would have come for him. By God's grace the matter will disappear.
Delete@Push up, are you trying to justify abuse now? Are we trying to find an excuse for abuse? If a husband does what he did we won't be asking for reason why he did it. Let's always consistent at all times.
Deleteits so so unfortunate. the Ordinary President has helped so many people through the brekete family programme. I am also an ardent follower of this platform but it was quite shocking seeing ordinary president slap the woman. What the woman did was quite wicked but he should have handed her over to the appropriate authorities, perhaps the police. We are all human and nobody is above mistakes.my advise to the ordinary president is to be more careful with his actions and utterances. he has to manage his emotions better. he actually has good intentions. una Hembelembeh!
ReplyDeleteOlololoooo 😂
DeleteThis guy, Isa Ahmed, is a covert blackmailer of political appointees/public officers. After embarrassing them publicly in his radio show, he goes behind to apologise and seek for favours (money, concessions, contracts and sponsorships). If the favours are granted, he no longer harasses the public officials and praises them daily until he requests for another favour. But if his requests are not granted, he rubbishes you daily on air. It is part of the fallouts from these favours that are given to the masses that troop to his station daily - these people see him as their "god" and can kill for him. I have personally experienced his dirty behind-the-scene acts and lost all respect for him. Similar thing Oshiomohle used to do as NLC President - lead protests during the day and go to Aso Rock at night to dine and wine with govt officials. TRUST NOBODY, including Reno Omokri.
DeleteExactly the issues we discussed in the office today. Often he attacks a govt agency, threatening fire and brimstone; subsequently the matter will not be heard again and he starts praising them.
Delete@Millypee, will you be saying the same thing if a married man with good intentions slaps his wife? Let's try to be less sentimental and call things the way they are. We should stop being emotional.
DeleteWhat u shd be asking is what he does with those contracts, concessions etc. If he extends them to the poor, how is he in error? That is part of what his humanitarian machinery is all about. Then again, why will he not praise a person who has taken heed of his criticism and made ammends? My issue is with hot temper and sometimes uncouth speech.
DeleteHe knows Nigerians are easily sucked into loud noise and public show because of years of hardship ..yes the senator who made some young men allegedly disappear in the east some 20 years ago he made noise than subsequently kept quiet and said he is no longer pursuing the matter ....Same way militants in Niger delta behave when companies settle them with billions
DeleteHe just need to apologise. From what I heard the lady did, it will take the grace of God for me not to bite off her nose but then, he should have controlled his emotions. Two wrongs don't make a right. Oga Ahmed, apologise and move on. After all, that senator who slapped that innocent woman that didn't commit any offence is still a senator.
ReplyDeleteLol @bite off her nose
DeleteHe should apologise.
ReplyDeleteThis makes me so sad. This man has helped a good number of people get justice for years.
ReplyDeleteHe was so pissed at the woman he hit. A lot of us would have lost our self-control if we sat near that woman who assaulted a child, I mean burnt the child and still had the guts to say I no even know as e take happen.
Ah!
@Kokolet, you can't speak for a lot of us, please, speak for yourself. Irrespective of the number of people he has helped to get justice for years, what he did was wrong. Call out what is wrong as wrong.
DeleteHe was just impatient to slap the witch. He should have waited for after close of interview to panel beat the witch.
ReplyDeleteHe is notoriously hot tempered
Delete@anon:15:49
DeleteLoll, some people will push you to the wall with this kind 'mumu' behaviour.
I doubt if all human beings have conscience cos it is one of the things that differentiate us from animals.
@Anonymous 15:49, so if he had slapped her behind the camera it would have been okay, really? I am surprised are we are supporting physical abuse on a lady. If a husband does same a lot of people here will say there can never be a reason for abuse. Why the double standard?
DeleteThat woman deserved that slap and more
ReplyDeleteI laugh in spanish. This is what they want and he wants to give it to them. Ahmed Isah might have his bad side (uncontrollable emotions sometimes and mis-yarning) but he's really good at what he does. People get justice even government establishments are not spared.
ReplyDeleteHe's threatened several times before, maybe he's not serious this time. Las las he'll calm down.
Whether u resign or not, thank you for slapping her, I wish she lost her tooth.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you. Am wondering if the little girl is my daughter, will I be saying he shouldn't have slapped her??? Never!!!
DeleteFor me, she deserves the slapp 💯. All of you sounding civilized and European, ndewonu!!!
If everyone slapped us for our wrongs many would have no face, others dead.
ReplyDeleteYes, what the woman did was heinous, but what did the slaps do? Did it undo the act? What was achieved except getting personal satisfaction from harming someone else? You can't call yourself human rights activist and get pleasure from harming others.
In some cultures ppl used to stone women to death for committing adultery, and still do. Nobody should ever get pleasure in harming anyone even if it perceived as justified, you will slowly lose your humanity in the process.
@Anonymous 16:15, what a great response.
DeleteIf they investigate him properly he might be beating his wives, I'm very much surprise that so many women in this platform are even in support of his action, if your husband beat you as a woman will you like it, better as he apologized.
ReplyDeleteIf those wives burnt children, then yes they deserve the same violence. If I ever become so vile to abuse a child, then yes, I will deserve the same treatment.
Delete@Lily Rose, so you've agreed that there is a reason for violence against a wife, hmmm. The next time a story of a husband physically abusing a wife I will like you to ask what she did to deserved to warrant such because that's the logic you've laid out in your comment.
Delete@Anonymous 16:17, you are probably right.
What did she do biko?
ReplyDeleteHoly mother of God. And just one small slap that he gave her is what is making people lose sleep?
DeleteWhat did the woman do? Can anyone explain please.
ReplyDeleteShe accused her 6year old of being a witch, she then tied up her hands and legs. Rubbed kerosine on her head and set it ablaze. The mother brought the girl with the scalp decaying.
DeleteThat woman couldn't have missed correct beating from what she did. Two slaps small sef
ReplyDeleteThis is how witches operates, in whatever you do, try your possible best to not cross paths with a bloody witch, but if by unfortunate you do, please by every means available, kill it before it causes havoc. Not only did the witch render the kids hair useless, caused her injuries, both internally and physically, "IT" almost got her KILLED. She caused a good number of well meaning Nigerians renge, as if that wasn't enough, this noble man up there is about to resign because of the witch. When you see a witch, avoid it or kill it.
ReplyDeleteDear ordinary president sir, from the debts of my heart, i love you, and of course, you did noble. You simply did what every other human with empathy and emotions would do, i am very sure of the truth that i'd have broken the witches head if i were to be you. I'm sorry you have to resign. YOU DID THE RIGHT THING BY SLAPPING THE WITCH, only thing is the slap wasn't enough.
He just gave her an ordinary slap as an ordinary president and she is complaining.mtchrweeee
ReplyDeleteWhen village people wan use this kind mumu person to scatter your plans.
ReplyDeleteHe should address the issue and go on with the show.
He will forever be in my good books for slapping that woman. Forever. God forbid the people that castigated him for doing that. I don't even care if the law says it's wrong but in this case our common sense should override that rubbish notion.
ReplyDeleteHow will u be in close proximity to such a devil and not slap her or even do worse?
Slapping the lady on tv wasn't wrong and I support it!! Have you seen the poor child?? Then you will understand that the lady deserves more than a slap
ReplyDeleteBut so called "woke" fools are busy forming political correctness. They forget that normal humans have emotions and any sane person with empathy would react harshly to such a witch.
Delete@Lilly Rose, no you are the one forming woke. It is the woke generation that says there is nothing a lady does that should make a man hit her.
DeleteIt was not on live broadcast.
DeleteI know he did wrong by slapping that wicked woman but he did it out of anger and pity from what she did to that little child. Some of us will do worst if we happened to be in his shoes.
ReplyDeleteDid tiu see the part the wicked woman said nothing made her do to do what she did, she didn't know what came over her. He should apologise and move on,all has sin.
@Excited Courtesy, you are right, but reacting out of anger is what has lead to the death of some wife in the hands of "angry" husbands.
DeleteWhat the lady did was very wrong. Ahmed has a very bad temper. If he resigns from the show. No wahala. That means he has finished his assignment from God on this particular aspect. God will raise another to continue from where he stopped
ReplyDelete@ZARAM, you've said it all. What Ahmed was wrong. If the shows comes to an end, then it means it's run if course. That's life.
DeleteI've never liked Ahmed's temper or the vulgar way he talks at times. 'Made me stop listening to the program. 'Didn't even know it was still on going. Well, at least he helps ppl. It's good he apologized. No need to stop the program. Let him just tone down a bit.
ReplyDeleteHe has apologize and please he didn't slap on live broadcast.
DeletePlease sir the slaps u gave that evil woman shouldn't be the reason for ending your show. Please reconsider this decision. #She deserved those slaps and worse#!
ReplyDeleteHmmm. I don't know the story but I know Abuja people love that program. When I'm in the taxi to the office everyday, taxi drivers are listening. We need to control our internal weaknesses so it doesn't spoil the good work we have done. According one poster up, the woman set her niece ablaze which its abhorrent but it is the slap that is making news not the evil the woman did on a child. No matter the provocation, he shouldn't have it her but he should have made sure she died in prison.
