According to the agency, seventy-six shops, eight residential houses, twenty motorcycles, one Keke Napep, three vehicles, and the petroleum truck were burnt in the fire while three persons sustained injuries.
The tanker which was laden with petrol was travelling from Oweto and heading towards Otukpo when the driver lost control and the truck fell over spilling petrol into shops, people’s houses and a nearby petrol station , followed by a huge explosion ..
How trained are these articulated truck drivers? Corruption has done a lot of damages to this nation. Some motor boys get trained by their oga and that's all. One can easily procure a driver's license without even knowing how to drive in this country. No government establishment tasked to train and monitor these drivers.
ReplyDeleteWe still have a long way to go. I pray we get it right soon.
Don't blame the government for every bad incident.
DeleteWhat if the fault is from the careless driver.
What if he was on a high speed???
