They should temper justice with mercy. Life imprisonment should be enough. You don't take the life you can't create.
ReplyDeleteStop trying to whip up unnecessary sentiments. There are laws that are put in place in this countries and the penalty for default. Most of these drug peddlers think about the pros more than the cons of their actions.

Its just his parents he will put in heartache i pity. 25yr old dat cld have been anything. Same Vietnam he cld have been doing hair biz,humam hair is so cheap there. So many hair vendors trade there.
Some of these countries have cases of drug abuse that are out of control so they clamp down very hard on anyone caught trafficking drugs into their country, especially if you are not a citizen. Rumour has it that Oduhaeje became an instant celebrity after giving several "Malay" guys odeshi, they trafficked severally without getting caught.

Trafficking drugs in a country where you do not even speak the language. I wonder how they think when they agree to do these things. You already traveling on a passport from a country that sets off alarm bells, you are Black and traveling from Cambodia, a country that is completely lawless and you think you will not be scrutinized. Based on your clothes you don't even look like a tourist, because passing yourself off as a businessman would be the dumbest cover. And you think you can outsmart the ppl who are trained in these things.
ReplyDeleteIf you poor and desperate do you really think you could pull this off? Plus countries where drug trafficking is a death penalty crime have the most sensitive equipment to detect drugs. Please do not let anyone use your life like that. Because you die there they just throw your body in an incinerator with other bodies and that is your end. You probably end up incinerated with stray animals even. No promises of wealth is worth that end.
