It announced that Ordega, born 19-10-1993 in Gboko, joined for the remainder of the season plus two more.
Levante said their new player has extensive experience in European football. She played for AtlΓ©tico de Madrid, in 2017-18, a total of eight games in the Primera Iberdrola.
Ordega was a member of Bayelsa Queens, River Angels, Russian Rossinyaka, Swedish Pitea, Washington Spirit, Sydney FC and Shanghai Shenhua.
Levante described ‘Franny’ (her nickname) as one of the most established footballers of the Super Falcons.
Ordega won the editions of the Africa Cup of Nations in 2010, 2014, 2016 and 2018 and participated in the 2011, 2015 and 2019 World Cups.
“Her record also reflects, among others, a First Iberdrola title and a runner-up in the US championship.
“On a personal note, she has been twice elected MVP of the African Soccer Championship and was nominated for Best African Soccer Player in 2014 and 2018.” the statement finished”, the club added.
Ordega joins Nigerian players in the top flight of Spanish women football league.
They include Asisat Oshoala (FC Barcelona), Rasheedat Ajibade (Atletico Madrid), Osinachi Ohale (Madrid CFF), Rita Chikwelu (Madrid CFF), Chidinma Okeke (Madrid CFF), Charity Adule (Eibar) and Toni Payne (Sevilla).
