The conversion for dollars to naira last year was higher than the conversion rate now. What does that say?
If you have some money you wish to invest, why not change the money to dollars, fix it for a year, I'm so sure dollar will increase to naira this time next year..

We need a new way of looking at sin; a fresh understanding of it. John Ortberg writes: ‘All sin involves denial. It carries with it a certain moral myopia – near-sightedness.’ And the only way to see it clearly is through the eyes of the One we’ve sinned against. The psalmist prayed, ‘Against You, You only, have I sinned.’ A Christian college professor put it like this: ‘I’m nice to my students; respectful to my colleagues; love my family; don’t steal, commit adultery, use drugs or swear; and I floss regularly. But when I look at myself honestly, I see that I harbour bitterness, hoard my time, and resent others intruding on me. I’m vain and consumed with how others perceive me. I wrestle with my sexuality and have strayed with my eyes and my heart. I pretend to listen, but I don’t. I think more about being great than being good. I act more spiritual than I am. I’m a mess – broken in every way – and my only hope is God’s mercy.’ When Isaiah saw the Lord sitting on His throne, he cried out, ‘Woe is me, for I am undone!’ (Isaiah 6:5 NKJV). Then an angel took a burning coal from the altar and touched his lips, saying, ‘Your iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged’ (v. 7 NKJV). The realisation of our sinfulness can be as gentle as a nudge, or it can knock us down with hurricane force. What’s important is how we respond. Regardless of how often you’ve fallen or how badly you’ve failed, today God extends to you His grace, and a chance to begin again if you’re willing to accept it.

ReplyDeleteObasanjo wasn't all that fantastic president we may debate, but he gave Nigerians some of the brightest minds in leadership.
During Obasanjo's tenure, ministers were always in the news for their works and policies.
And you could see that Obasanjo was on their case because he did a lot of reshuffling and sacking.
He created an image or an illusion of a team that was working.
From Oby Ezekwesili, Ngozi Iweala and DG of NAFDAC Dora Akunyili of blessed memory. These leaders were as popular as the president for their contributions to national life.
But it seems Buhari is alone.
Apart from Adeosun, who became popular for certificate forgery, and our local or Lagos champion Fashola - who we thought would perform some national turn around as he did in Lagos, nobody in Buhari's team is known for any tangible contribution.
Because it takes a leader to raise other leaders.
So it is Buhari alone, and maybe Lie Mohammed.
Lie Mohammed may later become popular be for his attempt to frustrate freedom of expression in Nigeria.
His innovation is a machine that monitors people's Facebook comments in a country where there is no light...
Buhari would have done better if he had a strong team.
But can a team be strong where the leader is always sick?
Still I believe people when they say Buhari has good intentions for Nigeria, my question is can he carry it out.
We need a leader.
We need a leader that can stand on their two feet and engage Nigerians in meaningful discussions about our challenges and show directions.
A leader who is himself intelligent and can recognize intelligence in other people, and use it for societal advancement.
Another 2 1\2 more years of impunity, rascality, jihad senseless killings, looting, corruption, nepotism, careless speeches, international loans etc. Our only way out is a referendum to save us all from this dungeon called nigeria
