He’s probably lonely there plus long distance is not easy and wants you around. He seems head strong though. Did you date him in person and get to know him for a good amount of time before engaging you? If you go to Australia and you’re not compatible with him at all then that will even hurt more. Are you able to go to Australia, spend good amount of time with him then when school resume, go back to naija and finish your school, that way, there’s some compromise. You’re almost done for goodness sake. This is not about him alone and you need to not attention to this seriously as this might be a red flag. Please finish school and have your degree in Medicine as it’s hot cake anyway you go. You can even take their exam in Australia(get more info on this) and once you pass, you’ll start making good good money and you’ll have that financial stability in a new country. I feel really exhausted and sleep like either I was bitten by dem tse tse flies or not at all via insomnia. Hubby is so over the moon, he insists it’s a girl while I’m confident it’s a boy given my nose is like an onion now. I’m drinking water like a fish too. We’ve had the early scan for viability and I’m still in awe.

The next year, I applied for a different course after my sister's best friend who was studying law at ABSU discouraged me. She said it was the most difficult course ever and that she regretted going for it. She also said we'll spend a whole lot of money on books.

The worst thing to do as a law student or even just any student is judge your capabilities by what another person says or other people's failures!
I had that experience in 2nd year for a course in law called constitutional law. Everyone said it was so hard. They also said the lady lecturer was a meanie! I was so afraid of that course that when the woman says *come*, I interpret it as *go*.
Your guess is good as mine. I got *F* and cried out my heart! I called my mum and told her I made my first *F* and was depressed. That it's not only me. That the woman is this, the course is that.
She told me to shut up! That I made F because I told myself I will make F. Let this be my last F in that school. I should walk back into the classroom, pick up that course and tell myself I will smash it like a boss.
I took her word for it. Picked up the course and started reading it with an open heart! I carried it over, but guess what? I made an *A*. My joy knew no bounds!
That was my one and only F in law faculty!
So in life, NEVER judge your capabilities by what another person's own was.
If you have the urge to study law, put a little money together and walk in there like a boss!

ReplyDeleteDear bvs thanks for your prayers last Friday, I'm OK and well now. I'm the anon that posted about dreaming of snake and being sick and how I treated malaria without changes . I took typhoid treatment plus prayers and I became fine two days later.
