ReplyDeleteMe,Myself And I
DeleteOrdinary rat gum of N100 is now N200. If you can’t buy, go. No one is looking at your face because they too bought like that.
DeleteWe can’t see good beans to buy again. The price is now competing with foreign rice.
Palm oil, groundnut oil prices??⬆️
Whenever I go to the market, I come back angry and quarrel with my husband 😩😩 The frustration in this country is too much.
After struggling to buy under the hot sun and cook, NEPA will not bring light. Food inside the fridge will start changing taste ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Where is the BV that has 9m and her siblings were telling her to invest? Invest in what? Madam RUN!
Went out with 40k yo get just toiletries for my boys for school, not provisions came back and was looking for what i bought with the money. Just 2 children that would return back to boarding house. Thank God they don't allow provisions or pocket money.
DeleteOnce you spend #100 from your 10k, it becomes useless.
ReplyDeleteIt's really sad.
I made N1.6m from 3rd week of December to 1st week of January this year. By end of January, I had less than 20k remaining. The only thing I enjoyed from the money was eating mama put of N600. God help me.
DeleteJeweluchi you noticed too?😮😮
ReplyDeleteStella nobi small thing oo, this our naira no get value again.
ReplyDeleteStella nobi small thing oo, this our naira no get value again.

Na so we see am. The funniest part is Nigerians are so quiet about it.like they don't feel it at all.have we given up already or because deep down we are all the same if given the opportunity to rule the country?
ReplyDeleteWhat do you want us to do? If you talk, DSS will pay you a secret visit.
DeleteThe end SARS we did, they killed people and hid their bodies.
Abeg, no one wants to be a victim of circumstance or the sacrificial lamb.
Honestly the situation in Nigeria is terrible. I don't know if it has ever been this bad. You buy something at a particular price today and the next day the price is higher.
ReplyDeleteAnon, Nigerians are tired of talking without any change. Personally,I am.
ReplyDeleteEssah Mr Nobody, take the mic and tell us what you have to say about this as a buhari supporter.
ReplyDeleteEssah, get special market weh him dey go plus a grid that supplies him steady electricity.
DeleteMy tired is tired
Nigeria, onye highway
I agree. I spent 33k on groceries yesterday. Ask me wetin I buy? Nan, cerelac, pampers, indomie, golden morn. All for my kids. I didn't pick for myself before bill go high.
ReplyDeleteI thought I was cheated until I calculated it myself. Every thing don cost now o. It is well
🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm, I almost cried today when I went to the market, how did we get here?? Kings oil 1 Ltr that was sold at 250 few years ago is now 1k for just 1 ltr o,how do we survive😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩 this is sooooo sad, people are suffering
ReplyDeleteWait a minute,,, some people have 10k in this Nigeria??😲😲

Their social media status update is "who dey breeeeet!"
People still get money oooo...
My own account balance resemble radio frequency... Lol
Terrible country and situation 😢 😪 😞
ReplyDeleteSmh
ReplyDeleteIts a pathetic situation. Take home pay can not even take some people home. Its that bad. I am not a doomsday prophet but at this rate Nigeria can not get better, with the crop of our leaders/rulers, and those coming behind them. Have you seen the next generation of leaders coming behind them? Those ones are gearing to pilfer more and use Buhari as an excuse for their future failures. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteSo true
ReplyDeleteA colleague just said.." try go market with 10k, you go dey pray make u get change take do transport come back". The situation is that bad.
ReplyDeleteE shock you too abi, naija don baje finish.
ReplyDeleteIt's really terrible in this country ooh, something has to be done fast, else Zimbabwe 2.0 will happen.
ReplyDeleteNa so we see am ooo. It won't be well with our politicians and APC government
ReplyDeleteJeweluchi, you noticed too? Infact I hate going to the market these days.
ReplyDeleteI just came back from the market, I bought 1k meat. Na just 5peices with one tiny "dot" the man add as jara.mmmmccchhhhewwwsse.
This country is just a scam.
It's really bad Stella.
ReplyDelete500ml purit I used to buy #900 was sold to me the other day at #1300. Diapers are now costlier. Peak 123 is now 1300 as against 950-1000 it was formerly sold.
Let's not talk about foodstuffs, a paint of beans is sold at over 2k. A tuber of yam we will only eat twice is almost 1k. Potatoes are so exorbitant.
On top all these many states are being owed salaries for months. Those of us in private schools are collecting pittance as pay. On to that they will still collect surcharges running in thousands.
I keep thanking God for his mercies cos if not Him, I wonder what would have become of us.
Wanted to buy biscuit this evening...na so I say make them bring #10 own for my crycry baby ...only for them to give me and it had just one piece inside it. ...naso I return am say I no buy again....cuz even the girl go fustrate cry more after eating it.... something that use to be 3 piece....egbami
ReplyDelete#10 biscuit is gradually fading out. I went to buy provision for resumption yesterday and my eyes saw things.
DeleteIt is well.
Na so we see am ooooo
ReplyDeletePeople have been complaining since l was a kid. People cry, insult the government and others. News flash, we are the ones punishing ourselves. You build house and want to make the money you used in building your house within years. A house that will outlive you, outlive your children and grandchildren, and others. My tenants are all paying 160,000 . I haven't increased rent in the last 6 -7years. Why should I? You increase house rent arbitrarily, your tenants who are market women and farmers are going to look for how to to pay their rant, they are forced to increase princes. Government increases fuel price from 145 to 160 , 10 litres simply moved from 1450 to 1600, a difference of 150. Bus owners of buses and drivers will increase bus fare with about 25-50%. How is this commensurate with the increase in fuel. Yes government is not helping but as a people we wicked to ourselves. You run a private school where you make millions from school fees but you pay your teachers peanuts and overwork them, we are wicked.
ReplyDeleteThis one sef follow, The average Nigerian is crooked and wicked.
DeleteReason why we get the same pool of people as leaders.
The leaders are a subset of the populace
Sigh
Hmmmm your comment made small sense today. Kudos oga Sir.
DeleteWell said
DeleteMy oga announced an increment in salary and we were so excited ..... my people guess how much them add o? 2K.. .I just hissed

DeleteAlexander you have just analyze the major problem of our nation and the reason those people trusted to make a difference due to some reason or the other gets there and misbehave. It is well, we are the change we need.
DeleteAlex, where should I send your kiss. All the landlords in my area decided to increase tenancy from 250k to 400k.
DeleteI got my letter and I laughed in swahili, told my landlady right there that 'mama, sebi you will take the money to market na, let's see how it goes.
I so much dislike going to the market these days 😩
ReplyDeleteIt's annoying
ReplyDeleteWho see the 10k sef apart from the one we're writing here? Everything is now so expensive and we can't help it.
ReplyDeleteSame here, its like we spend all our earnings on only foodstuffs, before we think of other things the money is finished
ReplyDeleteIt issad
ReplyDeleteI go to the market and come back calculating. Hoping I might have lost my money.
Last night I decided to make noodles and discovered that super pack size has reduced . You buy a carton for 4500 and the quantity is still reduced.
After buying a paint of honey beans for 2500 . I cooked that beans for over 3hrs and still not soft. One part cooked ,the other part like stone
It's terrible really.
ReplyDeleteHunger dey for school and hostel,if you have a friend or sibling in any federal University in Nigeria call them and know how they're actually doing.0_0_1 is the new normal.
ReplyDeleteHelp me ask our leaders where they are taking us to.
ReplyDeleteIt is getting worse day by day.
God pass them shaa.
I thank God that I'm surviving it.
Just 1 pot of manageable soup then to and you go dey wonder who Rob you for mkt abi u don droywe money
ReplyDeleteMy heart bleeds especially for people in villages wey no get any job.
ReplyDeleteIt's not easy at all,😰😰😰
ReplyDeleteIt's too terrible, I remember back then in school, if I am broke, e no reach make I no get garri, beans, oil, ground nut pepper etc for house and I will be calling home crying that I don't have food oooo
ReplyDeleteNow,a cup of garri is 120, things are too expensive!
One cannot even afford 3 square meals anymore
Naija is hone
Herdsmen has chase people from the farm, what do you expect. It is only the people in government and their cohort that is enjoying.
ReplyDeleteHmmm
ReplyDeleteWhere's even the 10k sef.
