Nigeria is nothing but both a mental & physical prison
ReplyDeleteIf you allow your identity to not exceed slavery, then you actively remain a slave
Remove the veil and see how we can still coexist without necessarily belonging to same country
Yoruba Nation & Biafra must become reality
I'm sure he hasn't experienced war.
ReplyDeletelet him not go there.
One Nigeria can never exist where there is tribal discrimination.
Blame the amalgamation.
Why is it that whenever someone calls for the breakup of this failed experiment called Nigeria, your lot will start talking about war? Why?
DeleteBecause that statement threatens the territorial integrity of the nation and most governments won’t let that happen without a war. I’m indifferent about whether there is one Nigeria or not but I know the powers that be will never let the breakup happen
DeleteTheir is no basis for one Nigeria, the level of intimidation and tribalism is much.
ReplyDeleteNa now him know?
DeleteWhat he has seen made him speak this way, however hope he won't compromise tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThis matter tire me, please if you have free visa and passport you are not using again, I use God beg you give me.
ReplyDeleteLet everyone Stan their own. Last last we will be collecting visa to go and visit each other
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to say this but if not for Tinubu convincing the south west to vote for Buhari, we will not be here.
ReplyDeleteDuring the election in Abuja , touts were beating and chasing out Igbos from voting and left yorubas alone who in turn didn't defend or say anything. Same silence when they were killing Igbos in the North.
So if you want your own nation ....have at it. You don't care about others anyways 🤷
I stand with him
ReplyDeleteNnamdi Kanu was ok with Nigeria until GEJ lost. Igboho has been ok with Nigeria until PDP realized they cannot win Presidential election in 2023.
ReplyDeleteSunday Igboho is only speaking for the people he is working for, not Nigerians.
He is a tool in the hands of some bitter old crooks that are desperately finding means to continue sharing our national treasure like they did for 16 year.
Old crooks deploying all tactics to return to the Presidency but never again!
🚶♂️🚶♂️🚶♂️
And the present greedy mean crooks?
DeleteNNAMDI KANUNHAS NEVER SUPPORTED ONE NIGERIA SO PLS GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT.
DeleteThere's no basis for one Nigeria from inception. We barely tolerated and accommodated each other. Apart from skin color and same geographical location, the core north has nothing in common with the rest of the country. Let us go our separate ways to develop at our pace. The north is a destiny killer.
ReplyDeleteI'm shouting it again "NIGERIA SHOULD DIVIDE"!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing like one Nigeria.
- Biafra
- Niger Delta Republic
- Yoruba nation
- Arewa
Agree to your options
DeleteFunny how it was even the Ijaws that can up with this Biafra stuff but right now they don't want to have anything to do with Biafra.
ReplyDeleteWe are just delaying the inevitable. Nigeria was not meant to be, and can never give us the satisfaction of belonging. Take a look at lack of patriotism in this Country, you will find out that none of us from the South are willing to die for our Country expect money is involve. Nigeria has killed her citizens more than any Country in West Africa. Let Biafrans go, Oduduwa go! Arewa go! We are better off without each other.
ReplyDeleteI have been fortunate enough to travel almost the length and breadth of the Europe and America. I have also had the opportunity to do a lot of inter-state traveling within Nigeria, I can tell everyone on these blog that none of the proposed break-away countries will survive. The deep rooted hatered/sentiments we have for each other is mind boggling! We all have bad reservations about each others ethic groups... From tribal issues to ethic issues. First he or she is Yoruba, then, the person is from Ijebu/Egba, or Abiriba/ MBAISE etc. The civil wars that will prelude the break-away countries will last till they kingdom come. The only way this country will work and get better is if we change our orientation about our neighbors, the multiplier effects of "loving thy neighbor as yourself" transcends beyond any human comprehension. A.P.C or P.D.P are not the answer to our problems, we need to change our perception about each other and then only then can things get better in Nigeria.
DeleteAnd this is why Africa will always be ripe for colonizers of any shade. The tribalism and fragmentation of the ppl is the greatest weakness on the continent. Nationalism should supersede tribe. Any outsider can go into a tribe and use them to destroy their brothers and sisters of another tribe because everyone see themselves separate and apart from the other. The poverty on the continent is only a reflection of the poverty in the minds of the ppl.
DeleteThe country has expired. Nigeria needs a peaceful breakup. I dont think it can get better than this with the kind of mindset everyone has. The country is divided by religious tribal sentiment.
ReplyDeleteStan @ 15:44 you made a point but it does not affect the deep distrust of the “Nigger” area (Nigeria) that white colonialists created. Having travelled to the North, East and Middle belts as a Yoruba, and having done the same in Europe as a Nigerian American, I am of the opinion that the real agitation is for the southern and northern protectorates that Lugard created. The gap between the Fulani Elites and the more educated southern elites is like night and day. Of course the colonialists handed to them because they were seen as useful tools in the hands of those Trent on manipulating Africa.
ReplyDeleteIgboho is delving into areas which he has neither the sophistication nor understanding of how to achieve, unless he has backers who do. Who is afraid of a sovereign National conference or “extended family meeting”? Let there be one in which the true representatives not the “Obas” or “Igwes” or “emirs” but grassroots representatives elected for the purpose meet and agree or refuse to agree to be part of “Nigeria”. My guess is that the south and middle belt won’t mind being one country, then it leaves out the Hausa fulani oligarchy whose arid desert holds little potential and who benefit the most from Nigeria’s dysfunction. Europe until recent spikes in immigration remains largely homogenous, it’s easy to look out for the collective in Europe. America has about 30m people in poverty because it’s not homogenous and the richer whites do not like their “ money” spent on “blacks in the ghetto, forgetting that rural whites are as poor if not poorer than the blacks they hate to spend on.
Biafra is landlocked unless Niger delta goes with it and at its peak with Niger delta it will be like Belgium. The southwest at its peak with the ocean from Lagos to Ondo state coastal areas will be the size of the UK. My guess is that a sovereign national comference will likely only result in expellling the nomadicfulanis who have held the nation back and weaponized corruption as a tool for keeping Naija subdued. The ethnic divisions do not run as deep as the it seems. Many marry from different groups within their tribes and even merry from other groups or tribes. I have a total of 7 SIL & sisters, only one among the 7 is married to the same ethnic groups, others married from outside. Same with the male children. The question is who benefits the most from this dysfunctional Nigeria state as it is now? Is it the afuk
U
Will the division solve the problem? What of all the inter-tribal marriages, will spouses and families become enemies? How will this play out? I think is a selfish few clamoring for this division. Nigeria used to be one loving nation before. What went wrong? Why are we so divided and now hate each other, why?
