I prayed never to allow others become victims of circumstances I have been through.so instead of being angry at my offenders,I bless God for using them to help me because if not for them I wouldn't know how it feels experientially and I would have done worst than them and lastly I am being used to stop that vicious evil circle. Moreover,I have ample opportunities of sowing good seeds which I will definitely reap here on Earth and then in heaven. In so doing,my heart is void of offence towards the offenders and God.(I don't have to be angry at God for allowing the offence) Forgiveness is very easy for me.

*INGREDIENTS FOR HOMEMADE YOGHURT*
ReplyDelete*1. Powdered Milk:* The best proven milk I usually use and suggest for homemade yoghurt is Dano powdered milk. Go for Dano milk usually measured from a big paper sack in the market and not the refilled ones you get from the supermarket.
*2. Active Culture:* This is also called a Starter. Unsweetened Yoghurt is usually used as starter e.g Unsweetened Farm Fresh Yoghurt, Unsweetened Habib Yoghurt, etc. Your Yoghurt will not form if you used the sweetened and flavoured ones.
*3. Water in its Room Temperature:* Also called normal water. Do not use cold water.
*4. Hot Water boiled to 100 °C:* and still on fire.
*5. Sweetener:* Use your desired or customer specified sweetener to sweeten your Yoghurt. I recommend healthy sweeners such as honey, jaggery, or dates.
*6. Flavours:* E.g Vanilla, Butterscotch, Pineapple, Banana, etc. I prefer using fresh fruits such as Banana, Strawberry, pineapple, etc, as my natural flavours.

6 months is the best time to start weaning because by that time
🍼 Caloric value of milk becomes inadequate .
🍼 Iron stores become depleted
🍼Digestive enzymes become mature .

HOW TO START WEANING
Since baby’s stomach is still very delicate, he needs food which is easy on his digestive system.
6️⃣months:Iron fortified cereals may be mixed with baby’s usual milk or water. Yoghurt is also a great first food that can be introduced at this age
7️⃣months:vegetable soup and and mashed/pureed vegetables.
8️⃣months:Egg yolk and pureed/mashed fruit as apple, pear & banana.
9️⃣months: liver and peeled beans, avoid giving unpeeled beans before the age of 12 months.
🔟months: soft and fully cooked chicken and meat
At the end of the year baby can share most table food provided that they’re delivered soft and in small quantity.
WHAT TO AVOID
🍼Common food allergens (cow’s milk,egg white)except after the 1st year.
🍼Choking foods e.g peanut, nuts, raw carrots or hard candy.
🍼Avoid spicy, added sugars and salt should be limited.
🍼Leaving the baby alone during feeding.
🍼Excessive amount of breast milk or formula after 6months as it may interfere with the introduction of sufficient amount of food needed for energy and iron.

RULES OF WEANING
🍼Start with small amount of new food and gradually increase the amount with a corresponding decrease in the milk feed.
🍼Additions should be tried separately with no more than one new food at a time.
🍼Give with spoon not bottle in an attractive way ( using colored spoons and plates).
🍼Fresly prepared and have a good taste.
🍼If the new food is disliked, it should be stopped and tried again few weeks later.
N.B Delayed weaning is associated with Malnutrition, Iron deficiency and ricket.
