Saturday Spontaneous Post

#recollectionsmayvary #weekend #ekaro #namaste #itiswhatitis #ekaro #namaste #thegoodthatmendoliveswiththem

Good Morning...

You don wake? Arise and shine!

Please if you are a man reading this and you are physically abusing your wife eh,the thunder that will catch up with you. you will into understand it...

A BV was abused by the hubby last night in front of the kids. He beat her so bad and stoned her to the ground....I stayed awake from 2am thinking about this and the way forward for her.... I no longer tell anyone to leave, and stopped my Domestic Violence campaign briefly because of BV Flora who went back after all what was done for her to help her escape the cruelty she faced then...She went back, got pregnant with twins and the rest is history.....I dont know where she is but i pray he has not killed her.

If he's beating you in front of the kids and you stay with one flimsy excuse or the other, you will have kids who will turn out broken and repeating the beating on their spouses...

Have a good day and keep your head filled with positive thoughts.

Kisses

  2. We've Been Enthroned!!
    Ephesians 2:4-6.

    Excerpts!!

"We’re called to exercise dominion and to live  as masters and victors in life through Jesus Christ"

"We  reign over Satan, darkness, the world and all creation"

"Until we’re taken out of here by the Rapture, darkness  can’t prevail, because we have a joint-sitting with Christ  in the place of power and dominion"

    Confession!!

I have a joint-sitting with Christ in the place of glory  and power. As long as I’m in the world, I’m the light  of the world! I exercise dominion over circumstances  and the spirits of darkness, and I bring them under  subjection to the Name of Jesus! Amen.

  9. PRAYING ACCORDING TO GOD’S WILL

‘You do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives.’
    James 4:3 NIV

When you pray for the salvation of a loved one, you never have to wonder if it’s God’s will. His will is clearly spelled out in Scripture: ‘God…wants all people to be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth’ (1 Timothy 2:3-4 NIV). However, when it comes to praying for things that aren’t clearly promised in Scripture, you should say, ‘If it be Thy will.’ Why? Because the Bible says, ‘When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives.’ Sometimes we have a hard time accepting this truth because we’re convinced our petitions are justified. But unless your heart is pure towards God and your will is lined up with His, your motives for asking can be tainted by self-interest. John says: ‘This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears – whatever we ask – we know…we have what we asked of him’ (1 John 5:14-15 NIV). When you pray for something you’re not sure is in keeping with the mind of God, you should pray, ‘If it be Thy will.’ So pray in faith, and trust God for the right results.

    1. Stella good morning! Praise the lord! Praise, praise, praise, praise theeeeeeeeee LORD! Hallelujah. Stella I am soooooo happy ooooo! My younger sister after 19years + has finally summoned the courage to leave an abusive relationship! That man is a devil from the pit of hell! I was shocked. She reconnected with me after 6years of no talking. She left with her 3 children she is doing well. My husband and I contributed towards her rent. She has a good job, bought a car and is sleeping well after all she went through Stella if I tell you what she told me she passed through I was just crying. Stella I will compose myself and send you the real life story. My sister told me he came to her place of work begging her when he saw that she was not going to go with him. He started threatening to kill my sister and kill himself. My dear Stella the one that shook my sister, the husband wanted to beat her as usual because my sister refused to put the car documents in his name can you believe that my niece that is 19years old attacked her father to stop him from beating my sister together they beat him up. But my niece told my sister that if you don't leave this man you call my father I will kill myself. His own daughter stood up against her own father! Stella my sister is free at last she took a lot of rubbish from that man. He is a manipulative, petty, foul mouth, lazy, violent man I thank God everyday for my sister she is happy where she is. Thank God for me!

If you're in Lagos wipe them with the package called ATOMIC BOMB RAT KILLER. A pack is N500.
It comes in a red sealed pack( check that it's completely sealed before buying).
The poison is laced with arsenic already, just untie the tiny nylons and place in strategic places. It will kill and dry it up. No smelling.

Made by Christo company in Orile.
Can't put the full names .(Stella Kork won't post).

Buy from Ikeja under bridge, oshodi, ojuelegba or mile 2.
It wipes rats from the whole neighborhood if you can afford many.

  20. Good morning everyone. Good morning Stella. I think the beating of a wife is basically because she accepts it from the beginning. One of my mantras in life is: what you can't finish, don't start. If from the first day it occurs, you do something drastic about it, nip it in the bud, he will most likely not try it again. But many women bear saying he will change.

Another reason for DV is desperation to get married. Most ladies see the signs clearly, but will go in like that just to answer Mrs. And these men know a desperate woman when they see one. Therefore, they'll treat you anyhow feeling they did you a favour by marrying you.

One other reason is that it could be spiritually manipulated. I've seen nice and well mannered men suddenly turn tiger overnight. Each time they are done with the beating, they come back to their senses and swear they don't know what happened.

In all, my best advice is: single ladies, fast and pray about every marital proposal you get and get a conformation from the Holy Spirit. If you have any unrestful feeling about any suitor, please hold on about it. The reason God breathed his Spirit into us is to communicate with us. But we humans call it intuition.

Married women, if DV occurs, separate from him for a while, especially when your life is threatened. From your new base, fast and pray and tell God to show you the way forward. If it is spiritual, ask God to heal and deliver him.

God is always there for us.

    1. I’ve got 2 points on this
      1. I feel omugwo is not a Yoruba thing. I am a proud Yoruba woman. I love my culture and what it stands for. But I think the way the Yoruba system is - the respect culture , the way a woman would train her son even to be maximally respectful to her and elders etc... is not designed for this omugwo thing. What I think happened is that our Yoruba mothers (bless them) saw how their Igbo women counterparts go for omugwo—- opportunity to go abroad, come back with gifts etc and without knowing what and how they do it, also started insisting that they too are going to do omugwo. The Igbo system designed the woman’s mother to go for a reason. Now if we were all in Nigeria and all, oh , all fine and good. I would gladly get as many paid househelps as I can etc. But abroad, the system is more of - if you can’t help me, at least don’t come and create more problems and burdens for me. Now if your husband’s mum is hands on and naturally kind and happy to help you etc . Just thank your God.

  23. I want to visit my family house but each time I remember my grandma is around I just forget about going. Jeez that woman is **** her son in-law flew her from the East to his house just to have her around but it's either she accuses the young man of theft or saying she's not well taken care of..This man buys enough gift for her dashed her money but she always looks for away to bring problem between him and his wife, he couldn't take it anymore and her daughter asked her to leave just 3 months of living with her..My dad (her son) came and picked her cos we stay in same city, she's been with my parents since March last year till date,my mom runs a business but sometimes she doesn't go to her shop just to care for her mother in-law and my grandma will still look for a way to abuse her, saying she's evil and killed her mom, she will go to the gate and be screaming in English ( she's a retired teacher) that they want to kill her, the day I went to visit with my husband come and see insult nah, she abused me that I can't send her money (I send money through my aunt when she was in the villa) the day I went to see her in my aunt's place then I dashed her 10k. The latest now is to poo on the floor of the toilet leave it there. My mom started perceiving odour till she got to the toilet then she packed the poo, the next day she got a bucket pooed inside and poured water and left it just by the toilet entrance but the last one she did my mother changed it for her o she pooed on the floor in two different places and had the guts to accuse my niece cos my sister came around to be with her since my mom had to go and receive her goods by waybill. She couldn't leave her just by herself and sent for her daughter (my sister) since she and her husband are no leaving to far.
My niece whom she accused is only a year old and wearing a diaper, my sister left the house in anger..My dad is going crazy and wants her out but everyone is running from her as well..Her favorite child's wife have asked her husband never to let her into their home..I feel for my mom

  26. Okay regarding yesterday’s BEP where Stella asked if a husband should ask his wife before he takes meat from the pot, Mrs A made a realllly surprising comment viz: “it’s only people with poverty mentality or spirit that notice missing meat from the bowl”.

That comment was really really insensitive and really tone deaf considering the current situation of things in Nigeria. Prices of food stuff have skyrocketed, there has been a tremendous loss of jobs and a lot of people are really struggling to keep body and soul together and eating meat for some people these days would be considered a luxury. Some have to ration their food just to make sure it’d last and I can only imagine how awful they’d have felt coming across that comment.

Not everyone can afford to have a pot of soup filled with meat and yes they’d notice if any goes missing because they might have rationed it and allocated a piece to each member of the household.

I mean I understand that things might be rosy for you and you consider things like counting meat as something only poverty stricken people do, but let’s have enough self awareness to know that not everyone has it good and certain things you might take for granted would be considered a huge blessing to some.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I agree with you Snarker. That comment threw me off, and was very insensitive. It’s easy for us to live in our small bubble and not understand what people out there are going through. We learn everyday, I hope she sees your comment and learns from it.

    2. Even with all your explanation and the current hardship and state of things in the country.
“it’s only people with poverty mentality or spirit that notice missing meat from the bowl”.
Because people without poverty mentality, no matter their financial and economic situation there are still some things they will not do because it doesn’t come naturally to them and monitoring and noticing missing meat is one of the things they will not do.

You do not have to be poor to have the mentality . It will shock you to know many rich people are on that table. Me I think when people make that statement they are not referring to those who are truly in need but to those who have develop unhealthy understanding of wealth and lack of it. Poverty mentality is different it causes greed even to the person who have the money. Even here in chronicle one woman complain her husband count meat and give 1500 for stew even though the salary is huge.

    8. Exactly anon 9:52 poverty mentality has nothing to do with your financial state rather your unhealthy mental state despite your level of wealth. Poor people have survival instinct based on limited resources but someone with that mentality has excessive resources but due to unhealthy relationship they have formed with money it becomes a problem.
