Media Personality VJ Sizwe Says He Wont Leave His Wife If She Sleeps With Another Man...

Media personality Sizwe Dhlomo raised eyebrows this week when he weighed in on a hot topic on social media when he revealed a lot about where he stood with cheating and relationships.

It started when American YouTuber Derrick Jaxn, who is known for giving relationship advice and has even published relationship books, confessed to cheating on his wife.

Derrick trended on Twitter when a video of himself speaking about having an affair was released. In the video, he is joined by his wife, Da’Nai.

Many tweeps felt that Da’Nai should have left Derrick for cheating.

They also said she should be embarrassed for sitting next to him while he confesses.
While she defended him, saying she initially fled their union but later decided to stay when she saw a change in him, many were not buying it.

When sports presenter Mpho Letsholonyane tweeted, “Turn the tables on that video. Only Will Smith would sit there quietly. No other man I know would even be in the same town as you, let alone same room,”

Sizwe replied, saying: “Lol! I’d stay... I’m not even joking.”

  1. Are you kidding me? 98% of men wont stay. Are we talking about the same gender who thinks they have the exclusive right to cheating? Cheat on a man and watch him wail like you stole his destiny. Abeg na talk this one dey talk

    1. You are wrong. Many men will stay if the cheating ain't public knowledge. A lot more will also stay but could check out emotionally.

    2. A lot of men will stay if they genuinely love you, you add value to their lives, its not public knowledge, they do not know the person and the probability of running to that person is low.

    3. Where did you get your figure that most men won’t stay and wail like you stole their destiny? Which type of men cry because you cheated? Of course one will be sad because of the love he has for you, you’ve not heard of checking out emotionally? You’ve not really met men my dear, maybe the boys you date and call men still dey shak you

  2. I watched that video and I just remembered Francine River's The Shofar Blew.
I love that Derrick's wife gave her genuine reasons for standing by her man, although Derrick didn't look nor sound repentant enough. I believe it's a gradual process and they'll work through it.
Cheating is not a deal breaker for some especially when it's not repititive.
Those blasting her for staying and being the 'dumb' wife should get to her 'bridge' first before knowing whether they'll cross it, navigate their way around it or turn back.

  3. It's a personal decision!!!

It depends on what are deal breakers for you and your threshold for pain and hurt!!

  6. That's his cup of tea.

Cheating is a deal breaker for me. Even if I forgive her, I would never look at her the same way again. So what's the point of being in a loveless, "trustless" marriage?

  9. You will be surprised by the number of men that do stay even after their wives cheated.
They just won't talk about it because of the society

    2. They only stayed because of what the society would say right, but did they forgive their wives or the torture is about to start? Men should learn how to forgive their wives genuinely and not just staying back in the marriage because of what people will say that's what majority women do,they forgive as long he's repentant

    3. @11:18, even the women that stay don't forgive. They stay for other reasons. Once that kinda trust is broken it is soo difficult to forgive entirely.

      Delete
    4. Some men forgive because of the love they have for their wives and some because of their kids. A friend's hubby who was raised by a step mum told me he would never divorce his wife because of the horrors he experienced while growing up.
Another friend of mine chatted up the husband of her own husband's side chic on facebook (silly move!). The guy apologized to her, said he's aware of her runs but they are still together. The side chic (or side woman in) is still doing runs with my friends hubby. My friend too has gone back to the husband. Things are happening ooo

    5. @anonymous 11:18 If you are a lady, I really pity your psyche. Why would one cheat in the first place? What forgiveness are you talking about? Who gives a damn about what the society says or do? Have you ever been cheated on? What did you do?

    1. Don't mind Stella Kork, oyibo life has taken her over.

Many professional working class women in Lagos are cheating, their husbands know and haven't left.

They sit out in lounges and drink themselves to stupor.
Those who don't, bury themselves in church duties and programmes.

  11. If my wife cheat on me, it is better for her to pack and go.
If I tell her to stay, she better flee because the kind of emotional torture she will go through in my hand will be worse than her worst imagination.
I won't beat her but I will treat her in a way she can't differentiate her mental state from that of a mad person.

I mean, she better leave without begging me for forgiveness.
The only good thing I can do for her is that I won't tell anyone why we divorced.
The divorce will be on the ground of irreconcilable differences.

    2. Petty and childlike Chike... We all hurt, we all make mistakes, learn to move on cleanly and don't let the bitterness inside you seep out. All wounds heal with time. Emotional torture is never a good thing. Seems like you've got sadistic tendencies.

    It's best I don't know.

  17. As far as you don't cheat in my presence, I won't even know cos I don't know how to monitor people

  18. Most men would stay as long as people they know/care about don't know. A few will even vigorously defend their wives if anyone tried to expose them.

Believe me, men live with their cheating wives.
