Couch Convo - Revenge Or Karma?

Do you think revenge is better than leaving the person who hurt/harmed you to be dealt with by Karma?

There is a meme after the cut explaining a situation but that is just one of many...

Dont focus on this meme. the issue is Revenge or Karma.

    1. Karma Is sweet esp if I can't see or contact the person again. And I wanna avoid guilt. But if the opportunity comes to help the karma along to act faster with a lirru bit of revenge I won't let it pass. Lol

  2. I will say leave it for God though it might take time but just as the Bible says Revenge is His and at the right time, He will fight your battles and come through for you

    1. What about the place of mercy? He shows mercy to who He will show mercy to and people that hurt us sometimes get that mercy. Sometimes, I think if they hurt you, hurt them right back. We shall all meet at tme throne of grace. But then again, from experience, I've learnt that forgiveness is for me. If you hurt me, I'll forgive you for my own peace of mind. Revenge is so expensive. You lose time, peace, sleep, money and so on. It's just not worth it. Some of us do not have the heart for such. I got heartbroken recently and was very bitter and wanted to to spiritual on them. It was very bad because they set out to use me from the beginning. Someone I helped changed his life totally and now won't even let me into his house. When I told my friend, she told me to close my eyes and imagine that person raving mad on the street or being wretched and not prospering due to my curse and if I smiled, then we'll go together. I did it and smiled but less than 10 minutes later I broke down in tears and cried like a baby. That was when I truly understood the importance of forgiveness for me. Am I still hurting? More than ever. But I know it won't be forever.
Noone is worth my peace and happiness. He took enough already. Won't let him have more

    2. Besides, it's sweeter when God does it. When He avenges, He's the master planner. I prefer to be watching than being a participant.

    3. Anon 13:48, it is well with you. Something similar happened to me. It wasn't easy at first, I cried so much. A friend suggested going spiritual but I said no. Totally not worth it. I healed. Now I remember and laughhhhh.

  3. I don't believe in revenge and I honestly believe in God fighting for me and if this is karma,it's very good then.
As per the meme,he shouldn't have killed his uncle, for God to expose his uncle's plan shows God would have fought the battle for him.
He killed his uncle but he can never have peace of mind for killing..

  4. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.. Don't pay evil with evil.. Karma has its ways of dealing with the guilty..

  5. Both are at fault.
    Both are killers.
The best way to go is not "Karma," it is called "leaving room for God's wrath..."
Romans 12:19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord.

The difference between this and "Karma" is repentance. Once a person repents, God forgives and does not keep the records of the wrong against that one. But in Karma (which is of Satanic origin), the person never escapes judgement/condemnation.

  6. I'm currently dating a politician.
This is my first time cheating on my hubby. I'm so scared. Guilt is eating me up especially as my hubby has never given me any reason to suspect him of cheating.
I ve broken up several times with my sugar daddy but he keeps coming back. He just knows the right button to press and I will fall yakata again.
It's not like it's even the money again, cuz I'm even replete. My hubby has no idea how many properties I have acquired in the past 6months.
My greatest concern right now is my safety, cuz if his wife finds out only God knows what she would do to me. And my kids! O God, If things go south I don't want to loose my children.
Karma should pls take it easy with me.

This life eh, see me that got married a virgin is now an adulterous woman. E shock me too. I don't know if I'm under jazz. I'm hopelessly deep into this affair. He has refused to let me go.

My husband trusts me so much it breaks my heart.

    1. You better put your feet down and run away from that evil union. When they pour acid on you, that man won’t remember you again, and the property you bought, you won’t enjoy. A word is enough for the wise. I pity the innocent man you are cheating on.

  7. Unfortunately, this is d situation of a lot of people who are not in the country or far from home. In as much as what the uncle did was despicable but being a kinslayer? Nahhh.

Maybe report him to their umunna or can even get him arrested and charged to court if he has evidence of sending him the money.

  8. I don't believe in Karma. Depending on the extent of damage caused, my revenge is usually as swift as the wind.

  9. Revenge most times.

Karma doesn't catch up with the evil doer in majority of the situation.

    Let me be your karma!

  11. Karma. I won't waste my time plotting revenge.

  12. Nothing like Karma oh. My husband moved out over 5 years to be with a female doctor. I'm left with the kids. They are prospering, deeply in love and doing well. Revenge isn't for either but Karma is a scam. My own revenge is to work hard and give my boys the best.

    1. Time will tell, if your hands are clean. If your hands are not clean, it may be your own karma.

    2. How do you know they're prospering, deeply in love and doing well. Are you living with them? Do you think all that glitters is gold? My dear, you only know your reality. Work hard and give your children the best home training and education, and your children will never abandon you in your time of need. This is your sowing season. You will live to enjoy the fruits of your labour. In the long run, you will laugh last and laugh well. Stopping monitoring your husband, stop waiting for karma, stop being miserable. it is well with you. Remember, the end justifies the means. Cheers!

  13. An Aunt of mine is a nurse in the US. She kept sending money to one of her brothers to help her build. Oga was snapping pictures of a diff site and showing her. She came back to Nigeria only to discover house has not gone anywhere. They quarrelled. They didn't speak for a very long time. She just left the uncompleted house for them. Another of their brother and his family lives in the house now. She is still in the US. I cannot imagine the pain she must feel. As it's her blood, people will be preaching forgiveness. Some people are just evil.

  16. Spirits are not the same. I have never lifted my hands to revenge, but if you do evil to me, I will just hand you over to the spirits that control me. In the end, the person must pay dearly. I am a born karma. When I was young they used to call me boomerang, karma was not popular then.

  17. There is karma . Don't worry about revenge as long as your hands are clean. It may take time but it surely will come. Karma is like the windmill of the gods, grinds slowly but exceedingly well.

  18. God is all seeing and all knowing. He doesn't react the way we humans do. When my ex left he made sure my name was in tatters. I had no one to defend me.I cried out to God for vindication. I imagined different punishments and ill fortunes for him,on the contrary, he seemed to be progressing even got married but boyfriend I no get. It took years but recently things changed. I am doing better than his entire family put together. He seeks my forgiveness and tries to be friends again but I no gree.
