Port Harcourt based Pastor Essa Ogorry of fulfilling World Foundation who refused to wed couple on February 6th because they were five minutes late has died and the cause of death is yet to be made public.

RIP Sir.. though I learnt that the bride came an hour late and the Pastor was ill to continue to church service... though that is not an excuse sha, he would have assigned someone else to wed them if he was really sick.

DeleteIt is excusable to be a few minutes late.But 1 hour?? Come on! That is ridiculous.Why do some brides do that?not cool at all.plan your makeup,photo shoots e.t.c to not clash with the time you are supposed to be in church.
DeleteMost pastors and church workers/choristers have only Sunday to rest and recover from hectic week and still prepare for Sunday service next day.This African time thing has got to stop.

ReplyDeleteMaybe the pastor started feeling very sick that he couldn't stand to officiate the wedding. I watched the video, the person recording it said the pastor said they should do the joining in his office when he came out after one hour. People are too quick to judge

Yes. I heard this in the video too. I wonder why they made it seem like the pastor was evil. He said they should come and be joined in the office. A lot of churches including Winners don't play with time during weddings. Gone are the days of the bride being fashionably late.
