ReplyDeleteGrowing up I never liked my nose, I felt it was too big but now people compliment my nose and say it's pointed, I'm honestly shocked and I just wonder what happened.
ReplyDeleteI guess it's my confidence now.👌
We all had some things we didnt like about ourselves. Thank God for growth and maturity. We have learnt to embrace them.

Her surgeon did a nice job on her plus she looks like a tall glass of fresh, early morning palm wine.
ReplyDeleteAnyways I hated being short and having a big forehead andI teased a lot for those two “flaws” but now it seems short, five-headed girls are considered cute so it all worked out at the end I guess
ReplyDeleteOf course!
DeleteShe's okay
ReplyDeleteMotivational speaker ti de.
ReplyDeleteI was teased for being so light skinned, now many of those girls are bleaching, wanting to look like what they made fun of me for.
ReplyDeleteGrowing up I didn't like my being fair skinned. I wore long dresses with sleeves to cover up the yellowness until I got to final year and had to wear shorts for a school stuff, I felt so shy but the compliments I got eh made me bolder. Now my first son is even fairer than I am, I will teach him to love himself regardless of his skin colour. Shebi people are buying creams and soaps now to lighten up, this world self!
ReplyDeleteI was called "elili ji" ( the rope for tying yam tubers). Haha.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm almost balanced out.
During my traditional marriage an uncle so embarrassed me eh, people were whispering like does she feed on only biscuits and orange? He shouted "kpolu nu naba na oja evbu"(you guys marry her 1st she'll get fat later).
Such is life Mabel.
Rock your body.
I was teased for being dark but now it is called melanin popping...lol
