The fire whose source is unknown, reportedly started around 3 am in the building located in the Soka area of Oyo State.

At the expiration of the 7 day ultimatum ,Sunday and his followers had stormed the Fulani settlement in the ancient town to eject Seriki Fulani , Salihu Abdukadir, and herdsmen accused of perpetrating crimes ranging from kidnappings , killings , rape to invasion of farmlands with their cattle.

Some houses and property in the settlement of the Fulanis were torched but Igboho had said aggrieved youths and residents of the town set the property on fire.

  5. I repeat again, people should start bracing up for what is to come. The Fulanis have declared war on Nigerians. Imagine one of them who is said to be their leader saying all the lands in Nigeria belongs to them. What an effontry from strangers?

The drum of war they are beating will eventually destroy them when it is time. We are all prepared this time around. No one is praying for trouble or war but then we won't run away from it either, as no one has the monopoly of violence.

    Nonsense and Buhari. Sorry Jubril.

    1. When I read that statement! The lands in Nigeria belongs to us! I felt pity for Nigerians, it's high time we stand and reclaim what's ours before we lose it.

  6. Let's all be objective about this do you think the Fulani Herdsmen would be brazen enough in a time like this to burn down Sunday Igboho's house which by now would be guarded as a fort something is not right here do not allow people to force your hands into taking a rash decision we may all regret later some evil hands are at work here Yoruba Elders as always should look at it with wisdom and a clear mind then draw their conclusion.

  9. Why is our government never proactive. This problem has been brewing for a long time now and they will keep quiet till it becomes a full blown crisis before taking the necessary steps.

Do farmers not graze their cows all over the world? How do they do it? It is wrong to go into another's person's farm without permission and then you go there kill and rape.

    1. Use your common sense, do political thugs not have human rights. People have been kidnapped/killed /raped etc. If it's a political thug that's bold enough to speak out an fight for the people ,why not support his course.

  11. Hmmmm,

The south west governors should better wake up from their slumbers and put the herdsmen in check, they should have a singular agreement on how to handle this situation before it gets out of hand. People are waiting and watching. Ogun State governor. Abiodun, wake up, please wake, the herdsmen are beginning to come into the streets, they are everywhere now, on Lagos -Ibadan expressway, almost caused an accident, please wake up and secure the lives of your citizens.

  18. Sunday Igboho is not a thug and was invited by one of the Obas whose son was kidnapped with a ransom demand of N4m after a diaspora farmer/investor Dr Aborode was slaughtered in cold blood. He is a known warrior during the Ife/modakeke war of 1997 and the Oba invited him since there is really no one in charge of Nigeria but a cabal of herdsmen who always support their own. Nobody but the fulani herdsmen want wars. If you can no longer go to your village or town or your farm without being afraid of killing or kidnapping by fulani herdsmen who by the way have sorrounded nigeria and are in every state and guarding every house, you may have no choice but to fight back. The seriki was kidnapping and collecting ransoms and by the time he was expelled with his house or palace burnt, he had 11 luxury cars.

Who needs AK 47 as a herder and why can’t they build ranches for their cows and feed them with hays and give hormone shots to their malnourished cows like they do in developed nations? Ever seen a herd of cows on any American street? They are in ranches, President Bush’s family has a ranch in Tx and many ranches all over. It’s a $trillion dollar business here and multi billion Naija business in Nigeria, Just like farming, they can’t be eating people’s farm produce free while humans go hungry. This is what the colonial masters caused. Merging folks with no common vision together into non functioning countries and handing political power to the least qualified.

No we don’t need war. We just need them to go to Sambisa, there is space for ranches there. Btw, the panic with which the Yoruba political establishment stooges of Fulanis like Tinubu/Dele momodu are trying to paint him as a thug is amusing. His people see him as a warrior not an MC Oluomo They finally saw a popular leader emerge from among the masses with old time Yoruba warfare materials and they see him as a threat and are jealous and trying to discredit him. Dele momodu’s interview was obviously done on someone’s behalf as he never alluded to the terrorism but kept asking about politics, the script he was given. I have zero respect for him anyway, he blows where the wind of money carries him. False was attacked on his farm in Akure, his staff killed. That was a federal finance minister. Pa Fasoranti’s daughter was murdered on Benin Ore rd! Carry go Sunday. Go to all the states and send herdsmen to the reserves and farm settlements Awo the visionary built.

We are not buying what they are selling. Fulani herdsmen terrorizing southern and middle belt need ranches in sambisa! Not in our towns and cities and traitors cannot bring Sunday down. There won’t be war. There will be deterrence and respect as opposed to the impunity that they currently operate with. #boycotredmeat #cowmeatisreadmeatandbadforyourhealth # eatfishgoatchickenbusgmearfuckgeese
