US Based Nigerian Doc.Ben Okigbo Fatally Shoots Wife And Commits Suicide

 Oh my goodness,WHY????

A US based Nigerian Doctor on Saturday Morning of December 19,2020 shot his wife dead and then blew himself away with their three children reportedly in the house when the shocking incident happened.

The Police are investigating and hopefully the reason this shocking incident happened will be revealed.

''Morning Texas Tragedy
At sunrise cold Friday morning, Dr. Ben Okigbo, a medical doctor in Houston, pulled up a handgun and fatally shot his wife. His wife was a nurse too. A few seconds later he turned the gun on himself. These hours their three children are dealing with the tragedy of losing their parents at home. We will never know why Dr. Okigbo, decided to kill his wife and commit suicide thereafter.
It’s my understanding that Dr. Okigbo was originally from Ogbe Ofu in Idumuje Ugboko while his wife was from Akwukwu Igbo, both towns are in Delta State of Nigeria. This is a developing story''

So many horrible family violence stories coming from doctors'home over the last three years. Please be watchful and prayerful for your loved ones.

  9. How do people get to this point? To think the man tried to kill his children as well but thank God they survived. Hmmm, the world has gone bonkers, such tragedy.

    1. Who knows man!? We are yet to get the full details of this tragic story. Might be a case of infidelity or even a case of him finding out that the kids aren't his. I am not justifying his actions neither am i excusing his stupidity but mehnn, we'd never really know and people react differently to emotional distress. Thank God the kids survived his attempt on strangling them.

  10. E no pass money issues.
Most abroad suicide issues happen between couples that probably the man brought her over and wants to be in control of finance and the woman at a point refuses. I pity their children.

    2. But the man is a doctor so It is not like he has to rely on his wife to pay bills or provide.

      Delete
    3. The man as a medical doctor will earn far more than his wife. They pay doctors really well over there. This can't be money issue... #spotremover#

    4. Please this can’t be money! He’s a doctor. It is only the jobless ones or the cab drivers that kill their wives over there for money.

    5. I saw their home on the abc13 news site, very beautiful home so I doubt money was the issue. The report report also said he tried to strangle their 21 year old sons before hanging himself.

    6. The fact that someone earns well does not mean there can't be money issue, see dr dre's divorce...messy money wahala, see late kobe bryant wife vanessa and her mother, who would expect. Do we know if his wife planned divorcing him and moving away with half or more of his life worth? Won't that still be money issue?
Nigerians(men and women) in Texas have always being associated with gossiping, infidelity and broken marriages, I do not know why

    7. It can't be money. It's infidelity. Naija married woman in America can sleep around it's disgusting.

    9. But Nigerian women marry from home all the time and bring the men over. The men will still chop their money, collect papers and run. But you don't see those women killing their husbands. Nigerian men stay killing their wives steady in the US (google it). And after we will say oyibos are the crazy ones. No, our men are crazy too. Mental issues affects everyone regardless of race and ethnicity. No one is above it.

    1. My thoughts exactly......the Anon saying it's money issues, what does a doctor needs a nurses'money for ?

    2. He probably found out his children are the seeds of his wife's infidelity. I can bet my money on this. I am not justifying what he did. Years ago I read the story of a guy who came from America to kill a former friend in Accra. The friend said things that fundamentally changed his life. Be careful folks

    3. Lol..una and this money issue, when the so called nurse decided to divorce the doctor and goes away with half of his sweat and not forgetting CS..child support money and the house, you would know money issue is not by profession. See Dr Dre and his divorce case, dont you see how messy it is with the fight of his money too?

  14. I read the full story. E get as e Dey. His 21 year old boys were at home and had minimal injuries and they couldn’t restrain their father?? Anyway make we Dey look

    ReplyDelete
  15. If the boys are 21 years old.... They are not small children oh. This matter needs to be looked at very well.
The children knows what happened. This is so sad.

  16. Dollars! Why bother marry sef?!

  17. Only someone from poverty capital of the world will believe that what a nurse earns in US is being rich. They are doing multiple shifts and strugglinv like everyone else. But considering 3rd world country mentality, they are rich.

  18. Anon 17:29 that said infidelity among Nigerian women in America is common and disgusting, your circle of friends must be those kind or you just spewed ignorance. Infidelity by women here may be in the clusters of places where looters dump their wives with tons of looted $$$$ and return to Nigeria to their side chicks, leaving their wives and kids to become illegal so they can’t challenge his infidelity in Nigeria.

The Nigerian women I know here and I’m a seasoned professional with my own practice are so busy juggling their career and home and raising kids with no house help that the thought doesn’t even cross their minds. I am of Nigerian descent and witnessed more infidelity among married women in Nigeria before relocating decades ago than my SU mind could comprehend. Even the men that sleep around here are not busy. They use their wife’s car to drive Uber and pretend while the wife is working 14 hours! Do not give the wrong impression out of ignorance. Nigerian women here work hard and I really appreciate us, we return from a 12 hour day and cook, I’m in the kitchen till 9.00pm sometimes, and still maintain the home with a house cleaner once just once a month if you can afford it. I hear it’s in places like Houston La Bonita, MD’s PG county, Atlanta, and a few parts of NY and at those village meetings you find infidelity. It’s not common.

As to a Doctor not having money issues, forget it. Some do 2 or 3 jobs to live up to societal expectations in Nigeria where A bc is always asking for money thinking their brother or uncle or sister is rich. Taxes go higher, the higher your income here so your take home is nothing close to what mr Google tells your relative you make. I cannot speculate on the case but the investigation will be thorough especially since the children are adults! Stop generalizing. Is it an American that works hard for every dime that will be buying Range Rover evoque for a side chick? Hell no! The women are not monolithic but the ones I know are not into infidelity. I certainly am not as well. Some folks just rat off inaccuracies as comments! Think before you type!

  19. The boys are responsible. Time would prove me right.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Whilst i understand your anger because of that person generalization...you said "the women you know aren't cheating".......how ..would you know ?......is adultery something people publicize
The only women you dont know cheating is you because you are the only person you can vouch for, you are the only person you are with 24/7.

And the whole people are too busy to cheat thing is offpoint.......most times when people are busy at work......if and when they commit adultery is mostly with their co-workers.
    So...

I knew it had to be Texas before i even clicked the post.
