Georgina rants.......
''So let me get this right.
A broadcaster battered his wife who is a medical doctor and left such physical injuries. And according to her story, this isn’t the first time and she escaped being strangled by him. He is a repeat offender and a serial cheater and the best solution our society can give is the intervention of the governor of Benue state ?
Dear Nigerian women and men in abusive relationship, please and please you don’t have to remain in a marriage because of “ your kids” or what society will think or say.., Lord knows you will be doing more damage to your kids by remaining in such abusive unions.
Your daughters will believe it’s ok and normal for men to hit them.
Your sons will think it’s part of being a man by hitting women. Suffice to say if you are alive to tell the tale of how you died from an abusive spouse.
What a country we have . In my humble opinion this man should be charged with physical assault. Serve prison sentence for battery. He will definitely be a repeat offender. I pray next time she will be lucky to be alive. Reconciliation is good but without proper counseling and guidance, sadly it will happen again. Many women are dead today because of such ineptitude on the part of the society always trying to foster unreasonable reconciliation amongst two adults who can’t cohabit. I pray they seek professional help and not a governor.
Dear Nigerian women, marriage is not an achievement. It is not a do or die affair. Marriage is a blessing that should be enjoyable with or without kids or massive wealth. Love is kind, patience, caring, forgiving, faithful..
if your marriage is lacking all of the above, my darling you are living in bondage.
Domestic violence is no respecter of class or status. It is ugly to its core.. Most were not lucky to tell their tale.
So my dear Dr Ifeanyinwa, the world heard your cry and demanded accountability on your behalf, but the decision is yours to make. The society might not be there for you again, that is if you live to tell the tale another time.
You are young, intelligent and beautiful.. you deserve better..''

ReplyDeleteU can see she’s under duress to let go, bcoz of one insensitive Governor & his wife. It’s possible d beast works with d government house as a reporter or knows d Governor personally & ran to him to come to his rescue. Thought DV happens mostly to d less literate or stack illiterates only.
DeleteI follow you waka my dear. God please help us women.

DeleteThis woman will never leave her husband even to the point of death, she won't hear. Abeg leave matter for matthias.
ReplyDeleteAnd sabi for Sabinus.LOL
DeleteShe's not leaving that man until death.
DeleteSomeone dat will get home and still have make-up sex with the husband. Before u know it baby No5.
DeleteI wonder why they cant advice seperation for a while. They can be receiving counselling from different homes, let the man value his family and be sober. He can visit his kids.... watch his behaviour if he can actually change. But returning dat woman back home is dangerous;abusers rarely change this one obviously has anger problems.
I pray she finds her feet.
DeleteIfenyiwa nwa ada, Doctor for that matter
Her family members are not even saying anything,at this point I think she's too weak to make decisions for herself, this is where they are needed or is she an orphan?
ReplyDeleteFamily members ke?
DeleteI know a family whose daughter was in such a marriage. Family members found out and took her and her two kids away from her abuser horseband, gave her all the support she needed to recover and be there for her kids. Guess what? Anty and unku were doing reconciliation behind everyone a couple of months later, and before you knew it, she was preggy. She ran back to him without family approval. Bottom line is she is dead now. He kept beating her even when close to her due date. After one of such episodes, she was rushed to the hospital, operated on, baby was taken out, mother died the next day. Stella even published the story here some months back, after the lady's brother ranted on Facebook.
So you see, this doctor's family might have done similar, or are even tired of talking, who knows? Thing is you can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped.
Family members kee, have you forgotten the case of Chacha Eke and her brother
DeleteThe story of "C" that was posted here https://www.stelladimokokorkus.com/2020/09/sister-of-lady-who-died-in-her-sleep.html very sad indeed.
DeleteAnon12:06,13:14 andTmum,I get your views. I pray she gets back to her senses before he put an end to her life
DeleteShe has accepted her fate. It is just so annoying that this is happening to a doctor that should know better. May God help her.
ReplyDeleteOne can be learned and not educated. Selah!
DeleteNigeria will never be better it’s not a curse ! Thank God I relocated to the U.K. where the law works, in a sane country, the man would be arrested but this is the useless Nigeria , a lawless country where anything goes ! I can’t even wrap my head around this story cos e de pain me. I partially don’t even blame the woman in a way cos people marriage-shame people in Nigeria, if u divorce , people would insult u and laugh at u, the system is set up to fail and mock people who are not married or are divorced or single .. you can’t even decide to not marry in Nigeria as idiots will insult u, this is a messy country
ReplyDeleteLeave government out of this, whever choose to be stupid should be left alone.
DeleteEverything is not about government
Anon 10:26 thank God you relocated to u.k
Deletewhat type of country is this nothing work here.
God who do we offend?
Ironically, women are the worse marriage-shamers and divorcee-shamers.
DeleteI am a man, but I know from personal experience.
I pray she survives the next one
ReplyDeleteSee the pain all over her.
She’s very correct but sadly it’s coming from Georgina the well known anti men.
ReplyDeleteAt least you know she's telling the truth .
DeleteDr Ifeyinwa that is pro men, they sat on her incision site, strangled her and beat her mercilessly just days after delivery.
DeleteStay focused abeg.
Anytime I see him presenting in channels I will call him wife abuser. I will let people know of him.
ReplyDeleteFoolish governor that will.call channels not to touch him.
They are both the same.
Shame on the woman for agreeing to this. Better enjoy your beating more in peace. If you complain, I will surely curse you
Yes, "reconciliation is good but not without counseling and guidance". Well, I am disappointed with her decision now that God was about to intervene
ReplyDeleteSee what has our "opinions" and "rants" ever done in issues like this?
ReplyDeleteLike I said earlier, this woman is a medical doctor, very educated in all ramification, what can we tell her that she doesn't know? Na she dey the marriage, na she dey chow the beating and bruises, na she know wetin she want, make we free them abeg.
Before I would rant but what has you're rant achieved ..If she were a road side seller you may say she doesn't know better or doesn't have money but a whole medical doctor ,I believe she knows more than us so if she accepts the man let us leave them alone .the governor may have offered stuff we dont know ..I would say na she know wetin she want ..after Stella experienced that lady who shockingly reconcile with her hubby after being maimed with plank or so , I learnt a big lesson. Advisers and psychologist learn to understand this thing called Nigerian marriage or you will get stroke...we are waiting for Victorias video rant..lol
DeleteY'all should leave this a whole doctor stuff. Education doesn't always change everything, esp one's mindset and self perception. Hence you can see a 'whole' professor behave in ways that would shame the village palm wine tapper.
DeleteWhen a doctor has the self worth this one has, she behaves the way this one does, nothing too shocking about it.
I hope the next we hear about this couple, it will not be bad news.
ReplyDeleteThe governor just encouraged domestic violence. How will you reconcile a man and women who started having issues right from the first day of the marriage,a man who almost killed the wife by sitting on her incision after CS and strangling her, beats her consistently for six years,Jezzzz the governor is also guilty of DV.Why can't he face the law...madam doctor pack your things and children and leave that beast of a husband, you may not live to tell your story next time...He will frustrate you and abuse you verbally and emotionally until sucide becomes your only option....where are your family members sef???...
ReplyDeleteshe is at home eating soup with her man..lets smh and move on no need to be wasting data
Delete11:13, true word. Not just any soup oh, correct oha soup with cow leg sef. That and Earthshaking make-up sex. That of course, until the next episode of keeping up panel beating with wify.
DeleteIt's all good.
All these things will keep happening as long as families refuse to support their daughters in the decision of leaving a violent husband, and if the women themselves decide not to leave.
ReplyDeleteIts such a pity, I hope this woman survives this marriage
Where is the lie??
ReplyDeleteYou have said it well Georgina.
All these long epistle is for social media show off...
ReplyDeleteI care less now about educated women nor being able to make a decision for the betterment of themselves and their children
You are a bitter woman. Seek help my dear Ms A
DeleteI feel like crying. Looking at this woman's face, I feel sad.
ReplyDeleteHer face speaks volumes. It tells a story. I pray she lives to tell her story next time.
I don't get it, why waste your emotions on someone that doesn't even have the tiniest bit of likeness for herself? You better snap out of that feeling. She ain't worth it! She no even send her own children living in a toxic environment, it's now her your pitying? Snap out it!!
DeleteYou took the word out of my mouth. She is warn out and looks unkempt. She can take care of herself and kids as a medical doctor. Why is channels TV not sacking the man already? That governor is a suspect of DV. The reporter may have evidence against him, for him to be this shameless.
DeleteLmao!
ReplyDeleteSee how this beautiful woman with intelligence is wasting her precious time schooling the obvious irredeemable Ifeyinwa abi Ifeoma, whatever her name is and the rest of Nigerians that are in an abusive marriage/relationship? Lolπ€¦♀️π€¦♀️.
Sis puta ba o, Waste no further time in explaining because it won't work. These women love to learn the hardest way!
Either by them getting killed,
Or by being terribly injured in away that they end up becoming physically challenged.
Or maybe when the abusive partner finally gets tired of their every stupidity and cheapness and finally decides to kick their asses out of the house and bring in a woke queen that will teach the abusive imp how to treat a sound queen.
Georgina please don't waste your time, these people ain't worth it.
By the way, that lady is a total disgrace and disappointment to all the medical doctors all over the world. As for the governor abi who did they say the dum dum that settled the two birds of the same feathers parading each other as a couple is again? Do i even have a word for you? Lol. Hell no! Y'all should continue ojareh! Las las SDK will be updating us with spicy news, including the obituary onesππ. Who no won get sense fit finally get for grave.
Wow.. You mirrored almost all.my thought.
DeleteI hope she won't get herself killed this time because this is not the end of it
I don't understand if beating/suffering is sweet to this woman.
ReplyDeleteIf I do mistake hit my hand against something, I know the pain I feel not to talk of being beaten up my another human being.. Ahhhhh, Γ¬yΓ‘! Chopping punch, slaps etc ahhhh
I just don't get why someone is being assaulted for the past six years and still stay? Shey dandan nii? who born governor?
Well, I sincerely hope and pray that the man changed to become a responsible husband.
ReplyDeleteI just don't understand this wicked act of battering one's spouse.
Lord have mercy!
You people should leave them alone jare. Tbey didn't force her to reconcile. Its her decision
ReplyDeleteThis woman is suffering from the real Stockholm syndrome not what madam chronicles poster of yesterday wrote
ReplyDeleteThe pictures shows it all!
ReplyDeleteImagine this doctor with her numerous patients and ending marital problems.
ReplyDeleteMy word come to pass. I said it, this woman will soon reconcile with her abuser.
ReplyDeleteI will never pity any man or woman in a domestic violence relationship of any time
My husband beats and rapes me everyday. Last night we were watching news and my heart sank when I saw how happy he was with the way the governor handled it. He beat and raped me again last night. I am not bothered anymore because he will soon die. By next year February he will die. I poison him everyday. He will die before he kills me. I have no family and no job. Only my children. But he will die before he kills me.
ReplyDeletesaud but please dont do anything u will regret
DeleteHmmm If you kill him, you'd go to jail. Pls Reach out to all these women empowerment or feminist groups on twitter. One may be able to help. Hugs and prayers for you dear π
DeleteLeave him na,don't kill him please cos ur conscience will forever hunt u.
DeleteHow are you sure he won't kill you before your poison kills him?
DeleteI don't understand men, you will be maltreating a woman and still sleep with her and eat her food. I pray he dies by February or earlier. Good for him
send in your chronicle
DeletePlease walk away, poisoning him is not the solution, his blood will be on your head. Please walk
DeleteBaby no 5 loading....i raise beyonce hand for herπ
ReplyDeleteThis lady is a big fool.
ReplyDeleteWhere is her family?
If she is my sister, I will severe relationship with her if she goes back to that monster
You guys don't if she was being polite because the governor was there. She might be planning to leave;now she has a good case for assylum to the UK or Canada.
ReplyDeleteIts not everything that they collect you for asylum o ..you think they dont know Nigeria ..people are misinformed about this asylum
DeleteNigerians and ignorance. Domestic violence is not a cut and dried issue. It's a psychological storm. Read up on the pyschology of abuse victims.
ReplyDeletewhy disparage a whole 200m people because you feel you know better ,make your point and leave it at that
DeleteBut seriously, why do women tend to settle for less? An abusive souse is a NO! He did it before and will do it again. Reconciling them wont stop the abuse, he should have been arrested and charged with assault and battery to serve as a deterrent to others who think they can get away with such evil. Mr Governor should have done better.
ReplyDeleteStop cussing at this poor woman. she needs help!! would you blame a diabetic for being diabetic? Mental health is not taken seriously in this country.
ReplyDeleteGovernor Ortom you owe it to the people - Why did you reconcile a wife beater to her husband with all the flaws levelled up against him. Divorce will not be in favour of the children - But are you sure she will be not be beaten again. From the looks on the pictures, she looks SAD, and the man looks furious in the eyes.
ReplyDeleteGod won't keep a home you don't invite him into, and Ifeyinwa nd Pius you can do better than this - Domestic violence is just not ok for the children to witness- It scars them emotionally.

Oh my God. She looks terrified to death in that picture. I mean the blood is yet to dry from the last beating, and looks like she hasn't had a bath in days. I pray her life is safe in his house after this. DV and abuse can do a number on women: from looks, to self esteem to mental health. I didn't even believe when BVs said it yesterday that she'll go back.. I thought call-out meant she was done.
