I actually agree with you that it could be a well thought out pick-me strategy and if it is, I support her. It's not a crime as long as it's true (and even if it's a lie, it may be dishonest yes but still not a crime) Besides celebs carefully curate the images they display on SM and the stories they want to sell (and they make income from it). I tell young ones to think of ways to grow their following and make money from it, rather than trending BBN stars for free. Her followers grew massively yesterday. If she banks on this fame, she can write a book on supporting a struggling hubby, start a youtube channel on managing a chicken for Christmas and so on. There's always a market for things like this...

ReplyDeleteNigerians are living below the standards of human dignity. How can someone be unpaid for four years? That time can never be recovered. 4years And still go to work, why? Sometimes a lil stubbornness is needed in this life. This 5mins stage they got would be a perfect time to call out the security company and sue them to the court of public opinion or the hubby should upload his resume and get himself another job from well meaning awww-ing Nigerians. If not invested, the chunks of money they are getting could be used up and they'll go back to this.
