Polo Buff Dapo Ojora Buried In Lagos Amidst Torrents Of Tears....

Adedapo Adelanke Ojora, second son of corporate titan, The Otunba Adekunle Ojora has been buried amidst torrents of tears in Lagos.

His final journey to be with the Lord which was held at the famous Cathedral Church of Christ, Lagos, was very emotional and moving.

Dapo, fondly called Baba Polo and Dog Whisperer died after a shooting incident at his Ikoyi, Lagos home and was given a very regal farewell.

His remains were ferried by TOS funeral crew in a see-through hearse to the church where they were received by younger brother, Adeyinka Ojora.

The service was coordinated by Very Rev. Adebola Ojofeitimi who was assisted by many other clergy men.

Proceedings began with the arrival of his Dapo's wife, Patricia, their children, sister, Mrs Toyin Saraki and her husband, Senator Bukola Saraki which was immediately followed by the singing of the opening hymn " God Moves In A Mysterious Way"

The soulful service witnessed a wondrous solo rendition of " Abide With Me" by Joseph Oparamanuike after which there was a sermon where the preacher wondered if humans have victory in death?

He described late Dapo as one of those who have become victorious in death because he worked in the vineyard of the Lord and saved souls for christ.

The event was not rounded off until the family was showered with prayers, charged to be strong and not mourn because he was in a better place.

It was at the interment that emotions ran really high, Family members and friends could not fight back tears as he was lowered to mother earth at the Vaults and Gardens, Ikoyi, Lagos.

He was buried in a vault just beside elder brother, the genteel Adegboyega Ojora who died nine years ago.

The event was attended by members of the Ojora family, Saraki family, Mr Peter Obi, Mr Atedo Peterside, Bimbo Ogunbanjo, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, Mrs Mary Inegbese, Lady Maiden Ibru,. The Akinkugbe family, Ade Laoye, Bayo Amusan, Lekan Bakare, representatives of Oba of Lagos and Oniru of Iruland.

  8. If it is in Igboland, Nwanne! Na inside bush dey go bury em.

You will not sit with your Ancestors in the afterlife for cowardly taking your life.

No matter the problem in life, don't commit suicide cos the afterlife na war without end.

    2. We don’t throw bodies in forests. No matter how a person dies they deserve a fitting burial. Only rituals to rid the family and community of a reoccurrence will be done. We understand suicide and mental illness culturally. What is the point of being vindictive to the dead? To prevent people from doing such? Such practices have never stopped suicides.
