During an interview on Channels Television on Tuesday;Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi said that considering a candidate from the South-East for the 2023 election is a bit too early.
He, however, backed Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola’s comment of having respect for zoning by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
”I believe that the zoning which was done in the north and south should be respected, just like Fashola said.
“The best conversation to have now is how to deliver on the railway, maritime as it pertains to the responsibility assigned to me by the president.
“Why not allow me to complete the responsibility that has been given to me by the president which is being the minister of transportation,” he said.

This man has made a vailed self centered assertion that he is the presidential candidate of the "South" when he "completes his work as transport minister?"
ReplyDeleteWhat arrogance!
ππππππππππ
Exactly what his statement represent. Ameachi, sometimes surprises me.
DeleteIf he can garnered the support needed, I don't see why he's not qualified!
Delete@Ms. A.
Deletethe question was not directed at him as a person, in terms of vying.
Ode talk.
ReplyDeleteYimu, as if he is not interested.
ReplyDeleteDon't mind the sell out. Speaking from both sides of his mouth.
DeleteThe south east has been consistently voting for pdp since 1999. I don't understand the noise about a president from the south east in 2023. The south east should go negotiate with pdp , they have done more than enough for pdp in 21 years. It will be silly to expect Apc to give its presidential ticket to the south east in 2023 when they have never supported Apc in any presidential election. The late Ojukwu contested twice his ethnic group did not support him. Jim Nwobodo was used by the north to block Ekueme's chance in 1999
ReplyDeleteThank you for this comment!
DeleteI see that the East want power to be handed over to them just like that without joining in chess game.
Nobody will handover power to anyone.
Who's their leader?
By asking, who's their leader, I don't mean that coward...
DeleteBut in the right sense, should power be begged for?
DeleteThe power shouldn't be beg for not at all but should be worked for, it should be earned, the polical game must be played and not threatening other tribes.
DeleteI have never liked him. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteAmaechi continue with your ass licking, they will use you and dump you in the trash. Ask Jaga after spending bullion van to deliver him. Quash that idea cos it will not happen
