All I ask on my new age is for God to break me and refire me again,fill the emptiness inside as I am slowly losing steam if that's possible. I've lived enough for self.

IN HOUSE MEMO.

The recipient fo the 120k giveaway is Benin based BV Yemi........She will be using this money to expand her cake and chinchin business and begin distribution to supermarkets....I have seen samples and I am excited for her.

I cried today around 10am

There is a BV that came into my inbox asking for as much as 5k so that they can have food to eat this Christmas.she explained that her hubby didnt have a job and had tried everything but could not get a job.

I replied with Hmmmmmmm...

Some days later i remembered and asked for her account details and then i sent her N10k.....her response shocked me but that is not why i cried....Since that day she has been mailing me with very emotional words still thanking me for this peanut money.....I hate Thank yous cos it makes me teary....

  CHRONICLES OF MELODY THE RUNS-GEH

A month to our wedding, my fiance became very sick, so sick that nothing stayed in his stomach, he vomited at will, he weed and pooed on his body, I had to move in with him, it was too much on me, at some point he went dumb, we were going in and out of hospitals, on people's recommendation....

 I prayed and prayed , I kept begging him to allow me tell the pastor to call off the wedding, he refused, he would wave his hands, shake his head even though migraine was tearing up the head, he was losing strength, at some point he was pooing bloody stool, at one time I went 3 days without food or water, that was a week to our planned wedding, his suit had become oversize, he couldn't stand, then two days before the wedding, I had a dream...

In that dream, I saw his Step-Mom, she was with his wedding suit, I asked her where she was taking it to, she said "Can't you see that he has lost so much weight?, I want to go and shape it", I said ''Ahhhh Mama thank you but let me take it from here, let me go and shape it, i am his wife to be, I know his size more'' she refused, we started fighting in that dream, we fought till I collected the suit from her...

 I woke up, that morning and he talked and requested for food, I was so happy, he was still lying down, couldn't stand up, on the wedding Eve, the planned bachelor's Eve was cancelled because groom no de stand, since he had refused to cancel the wedding till he's not fit, I decided to go on too, it got to a point that I told my Mom that I wanted to call off the relationship because if this man dies now, I will become a young widow...

 my Mom shunned me, and urged me to keep faith and hold onto God, on the night of the wedding Eve, we got a call that his Step-Mom was down with stroke, that same night, I was fast asleep in the room I was sharing with Treasure when I heard him call me, I thought I was dreaming, I opened my eyes and he was standing beside me, Ahhhh what happened, I jumped up and hugged him, he said he didn't know what happened and he became whole again..

 I was so happy, though he was looking too trimmed but my Joy knew no bound..... 
On my next episode I will jist you guys about the wedding and reception....

IMPORTANT QUESTION:

If federal government pays 3 month salary into a salary account of a someone who died in active service, ( the person died in July, July, August and September salary was paid and stopped after these)

Does federal government ask for the money to be returned or does the money not belong to the deceased family ?

Is there any Nigerian law that states that the bank to which this money was paid now owns the money or has exclusive right to return this money to the government without involving the deceased family?
Please any experienced lawyer in the house or someone who has gone through this process should comment. I will be reading the comments.

I think the money is to be returned to the government since that might be termed paying a ''ghost worker''

MARRIAGE COMPANIONSHIP...

Speaking about the marriage institution, I do so carefully and with every intent not to irk the married ones who might have a diverse opinion from my point of view.

In this part of Africa, getting to a certain age as a man or woman puts one into some parental pressure about getting married. This is often done by parents citing the need of having their grand kids before joining their ancestors. 

No doubt, procreation is a divine mandate from the creator but companionship should be of utmost importance in marriage. This is so true, for companionship sustains the home when both partners are done with child bearing.

Before the injunction of procreation -"Go into the world and multiply," there was a reasoning of "Let's make him(man) a helper." In essence, the need for companionship comes first in marriage.

When companionship is being valued or seen as a major reason for the bonding of two total strangers into becoming one, there will be needless worries and pressure thrown on the woman when trying to conceive, rather both partners will walk it through in patience and understanding knowing that child(ren) aren't the only reason they got united in the first place. 


More also, after child bearing, the same companionship will ease the later part of their lives from loneliness as they grow old together.

Still on companionship, partners shares goals together, builds together, contributes in the decision making of the home, occasionally hangs out together, proud of each other publicly and above all, supports each other. When there's no companionship, partners lives in secrecy. When there's no companionship, a man sees a woman as a sex object for child production and when the child takes little time to come, he abandon the woman for a mistress and seek for divorce.

Finally, until we understand that, there is more to marriage than just raising offspring that will take after us and prolonging the family lineage, we will keep facing the challenge that comes with it and may never get it right.
