DeleteI must be one of the firstest people to open this post when Stella posted it. Fear no gree me read am finish. When I eventually came back to read I found out the tales was disjointed. I think Odemwingi is not so alright o. Obviously she was messaging him for an information on a surgery. Why did he make it look like she was hitting on him? This embarrassment is not just on Amara o. ReplyDeleteInquiring about a knee surgery from your husband's colleague is not disrespecting yourself, it is simply seeking out information. Most people want to keep their medical histories private and for good reason- they don't want people on social media deliberating on their health.
DeleteShe was probably stressing he responds to the message in her DM so that people won't know she or her loved one is about to do a surgery. I don't think you have factored in the anxiety that goes with many medical procedures. Even if the doctor is the best, you want to seek out personal testimonials of those who have been through the same thing so you have an idea of what to expect.
People don't use DMs the way you do. For many people, the social media is not a meat market.

I don’t know most of these folks but I like civil but lively conversations on this blog even as I read about naijabrities. I know we curse and yell at each other in all our cultures in Naija but you need to take it down a notch. You really do not know each other. It’s a blog. Be civil with one another.
