Nigerian crooner Dbanj has lost his Instagram page Temporarily.....hopefully he will get it back before they change all info and make it untraceable....
I guess he did not enable the TWO STEP AUTHENTICATION and then might have mistakenly clicked on a link he was sent.
This happened to me in October and we went back and forth until i reclaimed my page....The two step authentication was my saving grace......
Who Dbanj help with that page?
ReplyDeleteHow do you go about the two way thing Stella? Or is it for only verified users?

DeleteCome on, he has 4.2 million followers! It means with a click, he could interact with millions of his fans across the world. That’s why they’re influencers. Then there’s the money angle. It’s a business on its own, so it’s a big deal
DeleteThat was how my Instagram account was hacked on December 2,I'm yet to get it back. It was after they hacked it that I heard about the 2 step verification stuff.
ReplyDeleteI was just wondering why nobody told me about it since, me I've been telling all my friends about the verification stuff since then o, but it's sad I lost that account sha.
The hacker has even changed the phone number I registered with.

ReplyDeleteGo to your settings in Instagram. The two factor authentication instructions are there.
ReplyDeleteApart from hacking it’s also when Instagram discovers that people have bought bots as followers.
