Christmas Eve Traditions And Rant Post....

 Tomorrow is Christmas....

What do you wish was different?Wanna Rant?Any Christmas Eve traditions in the Country you live?

In Germany,we open all presents today after Church.....

This year, there wont be any Church services though....

After the opening of presents, everyone settles down to eat traditional Germany light food...Normally we eat in large family groups but this year every family to their own or in VERY SMALL numbers.....

I am making finger food.....champagne is chilled. *wink*

No Rants,just gratitude to God!!!

This post will replace the Chronicles post for today....

    2. @ Chi you don't have to buy new clothes. Was and iron the old ones. Remember there's school fees in jan. Long ago,i thought my children that new clothes for Christmas is not compulsory. My kids have started asking for long term gifts when asked to make their choice, even on their birthdays.

  4. I just want to remind us of somethings necessary;
It is called CHRISmas not xmas
Do not remove the Christ's birth you are celebrating
And do not live a life that you will be ashamed of before the Christ
    you are celebrating.
    I come in peace ๐Ÿ’‹๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

  5. Yes stella i wanna rant.
2020 was hardddddd, struggled all through the year, we cant even afford christmas chicken talk more of clothes.
This year we sold our wedding band to keep body and soul together.
Its christmas and people are expecting as usual not knowing that we are struggling too, people see you and think you have it all not knowing that you are managing as well. Our kids dont understand that things are not like they used to be. I pray that all these ends this year and that 2021 brings good tidings Amen.

Lord i'm grateful for life and good health.

  23. This year is the worst year for me ever since I was born. I lost a sibling in January, made some shocking and devastating discoveries( spiritual ) about my family and I've been battling it since so all of us won't die prematurely. My daughter got married in October and this same daughter almost died on 14th December from ruptured appendix in Europe but for God's faithfulness. In all, I'm grateful to be alive and that I didn't lose my precious daughter. God I thank you

Which brings me to my Christmas rant, I can’t understand the unnecessary strenuous activities behind Christmas preparations. If you see traffic today ehn, plus all the stores were FULL of bustling shoppers doing their last minute shopping. All this stress over one day, can’t be me sha.

We all miss her but we know she is happy up in Heaven.

Gave birth in March , 7 days later , husband lost his job and I wasn't working , friends left , saw everyone colour , always crying myself to sleep , I was depressed at a time, I remember giving birth and baby wasn't breathing well at first and was placed on oxygen . baby is fine now ,what more can I say to God than thank you. I'm thanking God for the gift of good health. That I am not in the hospital battling for life is indeed a blessing. For those that have lost loved ones,I pray that the Lord shall heal your broken hearts and give you the strength to go through this. For those that are going through hard times, just know that it is a phase that will pass. Glorify God especially this time and watch Him do wonders in your life.
