Those I know who don't want kids make that decision either for career advancement reasons or spiritual reason (for those who want to be nuns or missionaries).

I've a friend that doesn't want to have kids cos he had a very traumatising childhood , his parents were too stern that they did a lot of mean stuff to himself and his siblings.
And as a result of this he doesn't want to have kids, he said the only condition he'd have kids would be if he'd be capable of loving them and being a good parent.

ReplyDeleteI know a Nigerian who did not want to. We parted ways because of that and he married a Nigerian who claimed she did not want kids. I know she’s a liar but she will see pepe in his hands because he really does not want kids. He even said he will marry me when I am done having all the kids I want. So, he has book space as my second husband in future. I don’t know what he plans to do with my first husband😂😂😂. Crazy guy. Some people get craze no be small. I pity the girl he married, she might think it’s a joke and will change his mind or that she’s sharp. A guy like that can even go and do surgery to ensure it. He really does not want kids. I quickly borrow myself brain and ran.

ReplyDeleteMy husband told me he didn’t want kids because his parents had too many kids and they never had enough. I just kept quiet. Three years into our marriage, l got pregnant. Told him and he was speechless. After l had our baby, he got so attached to the child and wanted more kids.

ReplyDeleteYes. Used to fantasize having about 3 to 4 but I would rather adopt than go through the pregnancy period. Didn’t feel attached to my baby all through the 9 months. Strange feeling. 😔😔
