ReplyDeletePlease go to a good hospital where they can do the surgery well. there are so many ways now to remove fibroids. Please take it out because it will keep affecting your periods and you have heavy flow, plus it can keep growing. Please research well, there are so many innovative ways to remove fibroids now abeg. Don't leave in. All the best!
DeleteTake it from who has been there; unless the fibroids are giving you other health issues, don't touch them till you are ready to have children. If causes you terrible periods and excessive bleeding, then I will say you need your life quality back. But if it's just aesthetics, be patient till you are ready to have a family because they grow back. As for alternative means of removing fibroids 😁 sadly, my friend, there are non. You will spend money and you will eventually go for that surgery. Young doctors will never tell you this, infact one swindled me and I was paying him 60k monthly for one medication like that. I tried everything till an elderly gyneacologist told me to relax and comeback when I am ready to start a family. That's what I did. As for the scar, it below your bikini line. No one will see it.
DeleteI hope uve had children Anonymous 18:05 and if you haven't and planning to have in few years time then you can have it removed during childbirth. If not please remove it, as it grows and can be very painful/ side effects and you don't want it causing an underlying ailments.

Google embolization for fibroid, it’s minimally invasive and I know some hospitals in Lagos and Abuja do it. You can leave hospital the next day and return to your normal routine.

Anon 19:39 please DO NOT DO UTERINE EMBOLIZATION unless you don't want children anymore. It blocks blood flow to the parts of uterus which is how the fibroids starve and shrinks. But the EMBOLIZed area becomes inhabitable for an embryo (baby) due to lack of blood flow which will lead to lack of implantation or miscarriages.
