This guy told me that he loved me and he knows that he will have a peaceful home with me. However, I was noticing some inconsistencies with his stories; especially when I ask him what he does for a living. I called the family friends that introduced to brief me about this guy because he was too good to be true. They kept reassuring me that he was a good guy and wants to settle down this year. He said that he really likes me.
I would spend 2hours on the phone with this guy every day. We were making plans about the future already. We talked about every issue. Although, he informed me that he was a Jehovah witness. I was initially bothered by that but after he told me that I could go to another church if I end up not liking it. He kept asking me to come down to Nigeria; in fact, he was thinking of going to see my parents in my absence.
I bought the first ticket and the airline ended up cancelling the flight at least twice. I kept telling him that we should hold off until the lockdown is eased, maybe even till next year. This guy kept seeing that he must get married this year and asked me to look for a different route and possibly buy another ticket to come down. To be continued.........

ReplyDeleteOn Monday they try to remove the life support but he wasn't responding, everyone was scared that he may not make it but miraculously yesterday the hospital removed the life support and was able to wake him up.
