Stella, this is so true. During the peak of the Chibok saga, US military came in to help on Jonathan's request. The American military informed the Nigerian government that they have discovered the boko haram base and will gas the area as to make them fall asleep before they will go in to release the girls.

Lo and behold, the Boko Haram terrorist are all wearing an anti gas mask on their face. This got the US military infuriated and they gave up trust on the Nigerian government. This is the reason Jonathan cried out that his government have been infiltrated by Boko Haram and their informant.
Do you see why Boko Haram won't stop despite the billions being mapped out daily on its fight. The northern governors and presidency know what they are doing.
Just for one citizen, America spent resources to get him freed. Will Nigeria have done same? I doubt unless he's a Fulani man.

The rescue operation happened with the collaboration of forces of Nigeria, Niger and USA and even the US acknowledged this in their official statement.
