The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has confirmed that the nation’s electricity grid experienced multiple trippings on Sunday morning which led to the collapse of the system.
Mrs. Ndidi Mbah, the TCN General Manager, Public Affairs, in a statement on Sunday apologized to Nigerians and customers over the national grid collapse.
DAILY POST had earlier reported that Nigeria was plunged into total blackout following the collapse of the nation’s power grid.
This country scares me mahn.. moved from airport road to GWARIMPA last night in darkness mahn, asin in the nation's capital mehn, the street lights were off mahn, only few were working, asin just a handful after you move a long distance mahn, like in the whole airport road, everywhere was dark until you get to city gate, then after city gate you continue in darkness until berger bridge, then you sock yourself in darkness again until you get close to WUSE with few street lights working.. and then the cycle continues ..
This country scares me mahn.. a country where we pay tax, common street lights on the major roads in the capital city can not be regulated properly, I wonder how much worse things can get before we all agree that Jubril has finished this country..
See them explaining like there is usually uninterrupted power supply in Nigeria everyday,for some people in some locations they haven’t seen light for days,weeks,some even for months.this country is so backward.
I just don't get it in this country. The letter reads they will investigate the cause of the black out. Meaning investigation has not even started as at the time of the letter typed and made public. Shame. National black out not in time of any natural disaster and the cause will be investigated, casually said.

Since Saturday our own collapsed, its been one useless low voltage that isn't stable, we just been using generator till now
