The clips were played before the cross-examination of Brig.-Gen. Ahmed Taiwo, Commander of the 81 Division, Military Intelligence Brigade, Victoria Island.
It showed that the scene was peaceful until about 6.43pm, when protesters could be seen running towards the tollgate from the Oriental Hotel end.
Two minutes later, at least seven military trucks with flashing headlights arrived.
At 6.53pm, about 10 minutes after the arrival of the military vehicles, there was a blackout at the tollgate and flashes of gunfire could be seen.
At 7.09pm, the protesters appeared to be surrounded on all sides by the military vehicles which had flashing lights.
from dailypost.
This is similar to the report by CNN nau...........hehehehehe
It's not all about the evil and atrocities the military committed but will there be justice at the end of it all? Will those involved prosecuted and sentence? Will families of victims adequately compensated?
ReplyDeleteOne thing with Nigeria is that, we hardly get justice and like what they said, injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
I just want the ICC to prosecute people for this genocide.
DeleteThat's all I really crave now.
I am with you on this, Daddy code. Banning these people from entering the US is not enough. Let them be tried, sentenced and serve time like the murderers that they are.
DeleteGenocide ke?
DeleteIt is photoshop!!!
ReplyDeleteEven if this your commemt is meant to be sarcastic... it is very annoying.
DeleteUse your sense to know when sarcasm willbbe appreciated.
see as dem finish ms abroadian
DeleteOh yes they did, some people trailed them till they berthed at Lekki tollgate.
ReplyDeleteIf the CNN video is fake and doctored, where is the Lagos State's original version?
I stand with what my hubby's nephew narrated and is still narrating. When they opened fire, some agitated protesters challenged them and they came for them.
The small lagoon close to the protest venue was their only escape, many jumped into the water but not all could swim across, they made it because they are engineers who had training. Where are those shot, those burst open and the drowned?
We thank God, he and his flatmate made it into a hospital courtesy of good Samaritans, phones in their pockets were water-proof so they were reached, smuggled out of the hospital and relocated to somewhere in the mainland. Their former apartment is now empty and they resumed work since 2 weeks as arrests are on-going codedly.
Those bodies and badly wounded dragged out of the hospitals, where are they?
This is beyond a movie but I love whoever is the Director.
Just when the action is about to start HE SWITCHED OFF THE LIGHTS.
You can't fool forensic experts, even your bullet proof vest says alot. Rubber bullet is stuffed with carbide powder and only sparks flashlight when expended, how come yours burst brains and stomachs, our dear lying Nigerian Army?
#sad
#ENDSARS
#schemed
#mysterious
A friend of mine said she watched the video live on DJ Switch’ IG. Saw DJ someone even try to remove live bullet from someone who was shut in the leg and kept screaming to herself that no one should remove the bullet as it would only make it worse (she is a doctor) and some idiots say the lekki massacre didn’t happen when people actually saw and watched it happen. Shame!!!!
DeleteThe world don spoil finish ..if you think you can save the world you wasting your time ! Now is the time to hold on to your supreme being and for Christians, now is the time to focus on God and love working your ability ! No one can save this wicked world ..
ReplyDeleteSeems dencia was right when she made a post ..it's so sad and looks like everyone is gradually moving on.celebs are going about their normal business ! Just wondering ..so many thoughts ..
The truth must prevail.
ReplyDeleteAfter the panel of investigation, what next?
ReplyDeleteAfter Oputa panel what happened?
After constituents assembly, what happened?
Oops, #ENDSARS shooting happened.
🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
Something GOOD will come out of this. God is not asleep
DeleteThe truth cannot be hidden!
ReplyDeleteFirst you guys said you were never there. You were impersonated. Now this. More to come! God dey!
God will surely expose dem all..ndi uchu!
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of excuse will they give this time around? More evidence will still come out.
ReplyDeleteThey will all reap the evil they showed on that day. God will punish them.
ReplyDeleteGod is the only one that can explain what happened, how it happened. Vengeance is of the Lord.
ReplyDeleteCNN has already told us all these, our question still remains 'who ordered them to shoot peaceful protesters?'
ReplyDeleteWhat did CNN tell you? CNN that claims that the army shot live rounds of AK 47s at protesters who were over 2000 for hours but ended up alleging that only one person died? Imagine a whole Nigerian Army loaded in seven trucks shooting at protesters of over 2000 and we are not talking about hundreds of casualties now! CNN knows the people they can tell that nonsense and they'll believe
DeleteEESAH, we all know you are brainless that's what I have to tell you.
DeleteMr Nobody is absolutely brainless!!!
DeleteLook at the trash he is spewing.
I lack words for you!
My question is how do these wicked people sleep at night? How??
ReplyDeleteThey have sold their conscience to the devil so they sleep and snore on top, brazen liars.
DeleteTHIS IS NOT THE BONE OF CONTENTION. WAS THERE A MASSACRE OR NOT? IF YOU SAY, THERE WAS A MASSACRE, WHERE ARE THEIR BODIES? DON'T THE DECEASED HAVE FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS? YES THERE WAS A SHOOTING BY SOLDIERS, BUT IT WAS TO DISPERSE THE CROWD. THERE WAS NO MASSACRE. ANYONE WHO CLAIMS OTHERWISE SHOULD GO SUBMIT THEIR EVIDENCE AT THE PANEL
ReplyDeleteMay what happened at lekki tollgate befall you and your family@ Eesah
DeleteMr Nobody
DeleteYou are very evil. May you and your family also experience what protesters felt that night. The police only used live bullets to disperse the protesters. What happened to using tear gas or blank bullets? All the people with gun shot wounds like it was a an attack on terrorists is not enough proof that something is wrong with this evil government. It was a massacre and a genocide for live ammunition to be used when the army wasn’t fighting Boko Haram or going after kidnappers, I wish you and your family the same dispersal of bullets. And yours will be a stray bullet.... Demon
Amen and Amen @ Anon 03:11.
DeleteA resounding Amen @ 03:37.
DeleteIf there was no Massacre that night, you just cursed yourselves and entire generations. Eya. I pity y'all already
DeleteThe army were wrong to be there and even more wrong to have shot to dissuade peaceful protesters. Indeed there was no massacre, if there was, it won't be so hard to prove... You mean people died and their families just kept quiet on this age and time of social media and different NGO's.
DeleteSo what next?
ReplyDeleteSo what next?
ReplyDeleteWhere's Mr. Nobody now? Where's Adivincci? Speak up o!
ReplyDeleteOne of the fools is blabbing up there. The other is holed up in a village in Kogi, smoking hemp.
DeleteUp there
DeleteIf they were surrounded, then the aim must have been to kill them all. Shooting blanks would have been a perfect dispersal technique. "They" knew killing as many people as possible would do the magic at keeping the protests at bay for the time being and because they have no regard for human life, they carried on with it.
ReplyDeleteI still don’t understand this panel of inquiry cos the judge and the criminal they are investigating are the same people.Lagos state govt set up panel to investigate what Lagos state did ?im not understanding at all
ReplyDeleteLying upon lying God come and secure our dear country
ReplyDeleteMay those involved in this atrocity never no peace and also those individuals who are supporting this evil may they experience worse event. Amen.
ReplyDeleteThere was shooting but no massacre
