Chronicle Of Blog Visitor Narrative - UPDATE.

This is an update.......

This is an update to this Chronicle HERE

Dear Stella,

Yesterday's chronicle reminded me of my chronicle sent in 3.5 years ago. Well here is my update.

I went with Mr B. The wordsmith, introvert who chose to relocate to my city. He was a consultant with a government agency, so he believed with his skills, he would find work anywhere and that it was just a matter of time. Like most commenters, I was skeptical about this, I offered to move to him but his mind was made.

I remember his mum discouraged him against it too but he wouldn't bulge. (I like this quality of his - he isn't easily swayed, so no in law interference. In Fact, they call me to speak on their behalf.)

We got married 6 months after the chronicle and it wasn't easy at first! We applied for jobs for 2 years with no success! He handled the disappointments and uncertainties maturely and never took it out on me. I got a better job within one year of our marriage and he genuinely was happy for me.

He decided to stop looking for a job and focused on a business. I kept telling him he was very smart and would get a job if he kept trying but he had had enough and felt time was being lost. I continued sending applications on his behalf tho. One day, he told me he was going to start driving Uber as a side hustle.

I broke down in tears. I was earning well and supporting financially but his reason was that he didn't want to rely on me. I told him how he had so much potentials and I really believed in him. Typical him, he wouldn't bulge.

A week after that conversation, God showed up, and he got an interview invite from an INGO for a job I had applied for him 2 years prior. He called me screaming and we started prayers and fasting. Long story short, he got the damn job!

Stella, my hubby earns in dollars with foreign trips up and down.

I look back in immense gratitude to God for leading us to where we are now.
Truly, as the bible says "commit your ways to God and he will direct your path".

*Congratulations to you and yours......

  25. BEAUTIFUL!
I like the patience, the support from the wife and the resilience of this man.
Above all, I like the fact that the glory went to God and that no "god of man" came into
    this testimony.
People can seek God on their own in fasting and prayers and he will answer them always.
Please, married couples should learn from this chronicle update.
