13:16, if we go by your statement, then it's safe to say that Yemi also has no say since we didn't vote for those in the markets or malls, and we haven't heard that they got their goods/services free from the government.
This is why nigeria will remain backward. Stay focused on the topic . It’s about food not service. Service price goes up everywhere in the world during this period but food prices and clothes drop. Stop being bitter
Stella it makes so much sense. Other countries are preparing for black Friday but Nigerian own black Friday, prices are still ridiculous. Infact the cost of goods in Nigeria is the answer to that riddle that asks what goes up and never comes down? Everything from biscuit to rent. I was at a shop last week when one mama came in to buy sweet for her grandson. The shopkeeper told her 1 sweet is #30,she planned on buying both sweet and biscuits but there was no even #20 biscuit. The little boy was just looking like his heart has just been ripped out. Growing up, #30 could by a packet of sweet and little kids will be given sweets and biscuit for free in such situations. Infact shopkeepers had goodies to be given away during festive seasons. What is NIGERIA turning to? Must everything be about money? What happened to our milk of human kindness. Stella even the milk sef na #60 for one satchet. What fun stories of festive seasons can I tell my kids I had when I was a youth? Yes, as kids we had street dance, knockouts, carnivals and so on but now? It's just another day. I hate that future generations will never experience the kind fun I experienced as a child.
I was telling my kids about banger the other day. They couldnt believe tat we were allowed to run around the streets throwing explosives at a young age without supervision๐๐. Times have changed
