I have been a victim, my son twice. I leave them to God. They would surely meet their karma.
ReplyDeleteStop leaving them for God. That’s is why they have gotten bolder!
DeleteMy brother was harassed by a wealthy man with Police. Made to sit on the mud by the road side for not paying his shop rent. 180,000 in 2016.
DeleteMy husband was arrested a day to our wedding by his business associate. The woman said my husband must pay all before getting married, even when l co-signed an agreement on the payment. She came with Sars on Friday morning and arrested my husband. My brother went to a Human Rights Lawyer, who came and pleaded our case. He was later released cause the Oga and the lawyer na Paddi.
When, l was 8years, my Dad was arrested by Police over a mere allegation. He was detained for 4days before contacting his people. That was in 1993.
We have all had our share of brutality from this Mofo.
If your dad is a Policeman in Nigeria, no need praying for generational curse. The curse from your Dad is a big reason to visit TB Joshua.
This one just happened recently, my Dad was driving his bike to buy fuel from filling Station. This DPO was on high speed, and almost knocked my Dad down. My DAD entered the Filling Station by chance. The bleached man came in and accused my Dad of insulting him. He commanded one officer at the duty post to arrest my Dad. That was how they took him to Station and locked him up without statement. Our in-law, An Airforce Personnel was called and Mummy drove to the station. The stupid man refused to answer the Airforce man. The man never expected that a man on bike should have such a car that my Mum drove. He was priding himself against my Father. My Dad told him that he is a pastor, and just retired. He insulted my dad like tomorrow no dey. I will look for the video, cause we recorded him, right in his office, without him knowing. After all the insults, he was expecting a wine from us, but l told him, NO WAY! you don't bully my Dad, and expect a thank you note.
DeleteMy Dad wanted to go, l said No!
This people are animals. They deserves to be reform.
My brother was sitting outside my parents house last year and he was dragged inside their van right in front of my dad. When we got to the station we were asked why can he be so fresh and using iPhone.
ReplyDeleteHis phone was searched and nothing was found. We paid 20k before he could be released.Very sad day.#Endsars#Endpolicebrutality....
"Why can he be so fresh, and using an Iphone?"🤦🤦. May God help us all.
DeleteMy cousin brother Onyema was killed by the Sars at the age of 22years.
ReplyDeleteMy younger brother was harrased by the sars while going somewhere with his friends last year. They transferred money to them cos they demanded for money or they take them away, after which my brother later contacted my elder sis and with the evidence of the transfer, my elder sis threatened to deal with them by calling the Dpo with her connection. They located my sis house and came back with the money and wine to beg her.
Then my Cousin brother again Martins was stopped by the SARS again along Awkuzu Sars road Anambra state last year again. They pointed gun at him ,took over his car keys and ordered him to find something for them unless they tag him a kidnapper, that's all they said to him and my cousin brother gave them money and left to Onitsha shoprite. When he got to Onitsha shoprite he realised that one of them forgot his phone inside his car and they started calling and calling ,begging him to please give them back the phone, which he later gave them back(He would have use that opportunity to threaten them, but no he didn't,not cool.)
These are the ones I can say now.
SARS has done more harm than good in this yeye country.
Give back which phone!
DeleteSo sorry about the death of your cousin.
DeleteThanks Candy,anon I don't get you
DeleteThat's why some of them don't end well. Smh
ReplyDeleteMy dear even good people don’t end well so that one no be punishment. They have to be prosecuted
DeleteYes oh Stella
ReplyDeleteThey came into my office commando style, 8 of them with guns and wisked me away 😫
Why??
Because they were trying to locate one if my company customer and decided to arrest the people he called a day before, unfortunately, I will was one of them.
The worst is that at the end of sooo much traumatic experience, the guy was innocent ohhhh. 😣
They threatened me ehnnn, the story plenty 😥😥😥😫
I went to drink Jedi in one corner in my area.though ,na black spot.FSARS came and arrested us unknown to them say I be DSP,mopol.i later show Dem my I.D and den tuale me.i got down and I was giving 1k for bike cos den don muv me far.once den stop u,abeg stop cos I noticed those guys are on hard drugs.
ReplyDeleteYears back when my brother was an apprentice in a barber shop, SARS went and carried my brother and his boss just like that to their station. when we got there, they had already chained their legs together with some other guys they carried like slaves and left them under the sun. we bailed the both of them that morning after a long talk with 10,000. people that went to their shop that morning to earn a living. this people called SARS are heartless.
ReplyDeleteI have been harassed by the police severally. One time we were to go outside the country as a group, and all converged in Lagos. We took a stroll I and a male friend one morning before the trip. Some haggard looking men just surrounded us asking for ID. I asked them to identify themselves to which they replied that they weren't talking to me. They were so unprofessional dragging the guy to collect his phone he resisted but was overpowered. Finally they went through his phone and gave him back. No apology nothing. People were just looking as if they had caught a thief. All the while I was just telling them they had no right to do what they were doing. After everything the guy that was harassed was now laughing and smiling with them. I was so passed.
ReplyDeleteOutside my house, inside a car, we were making out. From no where a patrol van swooped in on us. One hungry looking police rushed to my side shouting come outside and enter the van. I was shocked initially, quickly gathered myself and told them that I am a lawyer and there is no law against what was happening. They asked for ID and I told them to follow me into the house. All the while guy man was telling them to come for settlement. God! I was pissed ehn. That's how they would have seen suya to share among themselves.
One time one pointed a gun at me. My only prayer was to be shot on the leg.
They stopped my husband on his return from a friend’s house, this was around 10pm. Had the effrontery to tell the Uber driver to leave! God so kind the Uber driver refused. They kept on beating about the bush, asking for this and that. At long last they collected money from my husband, actually followed him to the ATM to withdraw the funds. They refused to take transfer for obvious reasons.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, the next is the Nigerian Police, their own brutality needs to be curbed as well. You don’t want to know the number of people locked up without access to call their family; some have been shot ‘accidentally’ and fear of repercussions prevent the police from allowing them access medical care. What of those killed at night, just so the holding cells (holding cells oo, not prisons) can be decongested?
I just got to lagos from abuja that fateful day,so when I got to berger I was stopped by SARS official.I asked them what happened and why am I being harassed what I heard next was a thunderous slap and next thing was where is your phone fortunately enough my phone was off could you imagine they brought power bank to charge my phone, after the phone came up they went through it and couldn't see anything..they said I am a Yahoo boy because of my outfit ooo,a T-shirt,Jean,cap and sneakers.
ReplyDeleteI brought out my ID cards to show them where I work they weren't haven't while they were with my phone an alert came in and that was it they drove me down to the ATM where I coughed out 40k just like that and they drove off.I was just standing at the ATM asking myself what was my offence
