    1. He was also the best graduating student of his own department, he didn't get anything, so as our govt decides to give him something now, make he reject am. Laycon deserves it, anytime God picks your call, he has picked whether through school or BBN, as long God has picked. Is laycon the problem of nigeria,? Y did he not say anything about the SARS that's terrorizing everyone

    2. Anon 16;04. I just tire. What is the fuss about?
This man was quiet when the whole end sars thing started. He didn't say anything.
They won't let the boy enjoy his glory in peace!
Oh God give me the kind of grace that will give some people headache. Haba!
Please let him have his moment!
      Laycon isn't Nigeria's problem.

    3. 16:04 so because he did not say anything about SARS he should not say anything about this foolish act of that Governor?

You are supporting political leaders to perpetuate the act of irresponsibility with Taxpayers money❗

BBN is a business and the business owners cash out BIG TIME on the show's addicts yearly with some rewards for the winner while you all roll around on your couches in stupor.

THE BIG QUESTION IS, WHAT BUSINESS IS YOUR GOVERNOR ENGANGING IN TO YIELD BIG REVENUE FOR HIS STATE❓❗

Do you think it's everything that brings money God approves?
If you think so, then all criminal acts that bring money is "God picking call".
That implies you should not condemn drug cartels, fraudsters aka yahoo yahoo, human trafficking, commercial kidnapping aka 'Kidnapping Incorporated'.

Please, as long as you have this mentality don't rant about any failure of government towards citizens or expect a better country that will provide infrastructure, security and jobs for you and your future generations. 🙄🤦‍♀️

YOU CANNOT THINK BEYOND IMMEDIATE GRATIFICATION or discern when your leaders are playing to the gallery.

It's clear that this generation has cottonwool as brain cells yet they cry when called LAZY NIGERIAN YOUTHS!🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

    10. @ Unusual Amy. You all are Hypocrites. When you all saw on the show, a first graduate that sold himself very well with a clear vision that could help in nation building, talent development, job creation, et al what happened? You all maligned and decampaigned him with your media outfits and "yeyebrities".

What was his 'suppossed offence'? He chose to love differently. For the gents, he was not your 'usual or regular' Naija guy, so he was a disgrace to the male folks. You all called him names to wit: Mumu, Creep, Rapist, Serial killer et al. But one thing you failed to understand is that, God is not man and his ways are not the ways of man. His surely going to take him to greater heights.

That said, I leave you all with this: " If hypocrisy were a drug, many people would have died of overdose"-Angelo.

    14. Hey guys take a chill pill! Laycon is equally a citizen. What if he did not give him the money, land and appointment and give them to his own family members, would you have known what he's doing with the state's money? What if he gives it to an undeserving slay queen who has nothing upstairs but whose only job is to slay on Instagram? Laycon represents a hardworking youth who has a good head on his shoulders. He is a good ambassador to the youths because he performed well in his academics, has been doing one thing or the other to make money and be better for himself. By the way the governor has the right to reward/appoint who he wants to reward as long as that person is not a criminal, that's the governor's prerogative. He appointed an Ogun state citizen to a position in Ogun state that he feels the person fits in, so why the fuss? I don't watch BBN but from Stella's blog and the comments I think I'm an Ozo fan but I don't think the governor rewarding a Nigerian citizen who has not done anything bad but good behavior, exhibited talent and academic excellence is bad!

If u check very well, he might be owing workers or pensioners or has uncompleted project that requires money. There are also indigents that need that money more than Laycon.. Somebody won millions & u added to it again, I don’t get it. Okorocha did it for Miracle, I don’t understand these out so called leaders.

    1. The governor's decision is just so wrong. Ambassador for doing what? There are jobless graduates with great results in Ogun state he could render help to but chose not to.

Using tax payers money anyhow cos he won't be held accountable is a no-no.

Our leaders here are just something else.

  4. That Governor is totally misguided and without vision. That's exactly my thought when I heard this news.

What has he done for out of school children and those that need Medicare in Ogun State?

How many destitute and poor indigenes of Ogun State has he built affordable low-cost housing or provided free accommodation for?

With so many things to do in his State, why reward someone who already won cash prize, an apartment, a car and other benefits?

What he did is utter wickedness against his own people.😠

They should all demand for equal reward for every Ogun State indegene aged 18 to 25.

  5. Please are taxpayers aware that their money is being used to fund the life of a BBN star? How do our politicians do this so publicly without repercussions? And for those comparing this to gofundme, it's not the same at all. Politicians are voted into power and are accountable for how the state's money is budgeted. Individuals contributing their $$ to whatever cause, however foolish, are not subject to any law as they received no mandate. Year after year our governors keep doing this.. give out whatever they want however they want. Only God knows how much their girlfriends receive on a daily from state budget when the populace still lack roads and infrastructure. Wow, Nigeria!!!

However, these brazen stupidity will keep happening as long as citizens do not wake up to demand accountability from these evil men in governance.

This means such folks do not understand figure of speech and that expression was meant for that Governor and wastefulness of political leaders.

It means a situation has changed to a much worse condition, e.g. governance in this case.

No one is saying that Laycon is not all that good or doesn't deserve all the gifts, but the governor need to do more, for example, he should give every indigen of his state that graduate with 1st class same gifts and automatic employment. Don't you think it will encourage his people to take school more serious.

  16. Governors pocket billions as security votes every year. They fund their frivolities from security votes. If your can't ask any governor how he spent his security vote, stop frustrating yourself. In my state, Obaseki collects 6 billion naira per year, that would be 48 billion at the end of 8years. It is free money, this nonsense was started by the military.

Panseke-Adigbe road has been a mess for a long time now. The inner roads in Abeokuta are so terrible that shock absorbers are changed often. The past Governor signed a contract and started Adigbe road which was halted when Dapo came in. They've started the road again and I doubt if that road can be finished in one year considering the snail speed at which they are going.
The roads around Olomore too are nothing to write home about

Ogun state civil servants went on a warning strike weeks ago. Do we even want to talk about the public schools? Most of their structures are so dilapidated.

What serious project has Dapo Abiodun done in the past almost one and half years of being a governor?

Dapo Abiodun needed a Youth Ambassador, who is loved by Ogun indegenes and youth, someone that can communicate in their youth language, some one who knows the pain of been a youth from the ghetto

For 71 days Laycon was under camera 24/7 he didn't go nude, he didn't fight anybody even when provoked he laughed and moved on, not once did he engage in frivolous or mediocre activity, all he did was talk about his life, exercise, meditate through yoga, complete his daily task even when he knows he can't win

Nigerian Entertainment sector has contributed alot of direct and indirect jobs to poor youths like Laycon without connection of getting white collar jobs, IF WE STUPIDLY KILL BIG BROTHER ENTERTAINMENT WHILE WATCHING EPL, UEFA Champions League, LaLiga, BOLLYWOOD, WAKANDA AND HOLLYWOOD we would only loose revenue

California USA and Mumbai Indian both have no single drop of oil, both have the Largest GDP in India and US respectively, they make billions of dollars on all Entertainment

Think about Entertainment as a big business and perhaps as a black human you can understand no oil non governmental development

And to close my argument, Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, needs to invite MultiChoice Nigeria, Organisers of Big brothers, and Deloitte Anderson Auditing Consultancy to help them with real ways they got to get 90 million votes from all African countries especially SouthAfrica, Nigeria and Ghana to count, in a way that Africans look forward to vote for Nigerian content without fearing Corruption

Yes times are hard but Laycon is already in money and will continue to be since he is a hard working young man. No need to pile on more money just because you won big brother, use it to help other graduates since the govt lack vision on what to do with the money.
